This is 75% non-serious and im not going to like try to my name in the paper and be a whiney sueing ***** but check this story out.
Im at my table of the $2k on July 14th and i see my wife walking in, and then i see the collision with her small 125lb body and phils huge body and Obv. Phil didnt really FEEL the impact as hes much larger then her. She gets spun around and he keeps walking out.
So on the break which was minutes later i asked wtf was that LOL. and her story
" I see him walking in and I say "hey how you doing" and Phil replys "I LOST. HOW DO YOU THINK" . and in his storming off walked right into me! and didnt say sorry or anything....
so i tell my table this, including 2 reconized players whose names i wont mentioned at this point, but the one (bracelet winner this year) said that yeah hes had a few encounters like that and one day he will be in court for it, sooner then later..
suggestions or comments on wtf is up with this looney, who with 9 golds on his right wrist cant seem to take a loss and acts not only like a child, but like an uncivilized human??? -
Hold out two Aces
Kick him in the nuts
Say "Now who has the nuts" -
lol well she does sometimes,, but being "star" struck or whatever she was just being nice to the dude. but to have his shoulder bump her shoulder and walk right over a woman, in public like that, that can REALLY be an issue down the road. Some looney one day could REALLY give him a bad beat if he dont get his facking act together.
discuss? -
^^^ LOL
-
not sure I understood all of that.... but, you're mad because Phil Hellmuth bumped into your wife?
edit: nevermind, I misread your post. -
ok long story short, she was walking in and he was walking out, and in his rage he walks INTO her and fairly forcefully and makes a rude comment and continues on. One woman near called the cops cause my wife flung around so fast. Personally, yeah it was wrong of him to do so, but lucky for him in not a pr*ck and not going to like try to make a legal issue out of it. but my wife was very discusted with it. Helmuth HAS to change his ways or he will end up in a lawsuit.
-
If he purposefully did it and wasn't remorseful I would beat his ass... That's pretty much all.
-
I think you and your wife should get over it. He's entitled to be pissed off after losing.
-
i dont think he PURPOSFULLY knocked into a woman. but he did it carelessly and yes without ANY remorse. I saw the whole thing and there were a couple gasps when it happened. He then just walked right out and that was the end of him. One woman came to make sure my stunned wife was ok. others just shook their head.

ok well next time i lose, ill just go and knock her wife down. wtf are you talking about "hes upset at losing. So am I if i lose, i dont become violent. i mean dam, lucky for him i AM over it, i really dont care to make a bigger issue out of it then to get some views from others, but it SHOULD be talked about. -
Yea, I'd be fucking pissed, hes an asshole. Didnt some guy say something to, or threaten Raymer's wife at the WSOP last year, and it was completely warranted when he went ape shit on the guy. So I see no problem in being pissed at Hellmuth here, he thinks he can walk on water because he's a good poker player and considers himself untouchable. But almost knocking a lady over is bullshit, but not stopping and apoligizing afterwards is even more bullshit, just shows how big of a douche he actually is.
-
NO. I'm a female if he would have done that to me I don't go post on a message board about it. Also, you say you're joking, but then you mention people say one day he's going to end up in court. To me it sounds as if you're looking for some justification to take some kind of action against him. Were Phil's actions rude? Absolutely, but it's consistent with his public persona. So what's the problem? Why so shocked?
-
Are you serious? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He's a jerk on TV so he should be able to knock people over and leave them on the ground.
-
According to his post, he didn't knock her to the ground. I guess next time I have someone larger than myself run into me and spin me around I'll come cry about it on a message board.
-
You rabble rouser! You know damn well you don't want your wife to ever wash that shoulder again :P... J/K... there's ppl like this in every profession and someone will make an example one day.
-
haaa
-
i agree with the female 2 posts above me....he hates losing, he is a competitive guy....if you're gonna file a law suit against him, for what?...assault and battery? thats gay....and you are posting on a message board about this ridiculousness....fuck teams win or lose world series or championships, and people destroy city's, do the city's file law suits? no...grow up....
i believe Stu Unger said it best "show me a 'good' loser and i'll show you a 'loser' in life" or something to that saying.... -
If he did that to me he would be wearing his nuts for earings.
-
I see several people come on here and defend Phil saying what a nice guy he is when not playing poker blah blah blah
I feel that much like drinking, poker brings out who you really are.
Phil is a self centered whiney ass spoiled brat. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
Hey Phil,
There's more going on in this world than the horror of some millionaire busting out of a tournament. Recognize that it's just a game asshole and try treating people with respect. -
I hope not without being there to see both sides of the situation.
-
the FUNNY thing, is that i believe he was exiting a session of Chiniese poker or something. He had busted the HORSE tourny the day before and when we entered that morning, he was playing cash game (on the table closes to the crowd, which then brought a crowd) and i was told that that game had been going on for a LONG time throughout the morning and maybe all night, Then the encounter happened about 2hours after.
-
Sue his ass.
-
you sir, are a complete and utter douche for making such a ridiculous, insensitive statement. fuck Phil Helmuth and anyone who is a fan of this infantile punk...who incidentally is a JOKE among the elite in the poker world not to mention the worst cash game player on the planet next to Bob Stupak. Ivey, Lindgren, Negreaunu, Chan, Matusow etc etc etc all consider PH to be a complete bumbling retard. 9 bracelets or not, this infant needs a good asskicking.
-
the question from a friend of mine on AOL was "why didnt you get up right then and go have words"
and this was my dilima,
1.) i have a tendency to SNAP , like bad, if i dont have a good "woosaaaaa" and relax, so when i saw it happen, yeah i have jumped up and had a split second decision. had it been ANY more of a knock, or had she not caught herself and fallen, yeah i prob. snab and then who knows what happens
so maybe im a puzzy for not getting up right then but i know that if i do, i could of been in some heat as well and felt the best move was to wait 2-3 minutes til the break, talk to her, make sure all was well and go from there. I had over 50% of my chips at that point in a pot where i held 2 pair, that is NOT a reason to not act, i know, and thats not why i didnt act, it was cause i know that if i do, i may end up in trouble as well. -
Phil has a nasty overhand right. I think you made a good decision.
