  1. CL with 13 to go in the WSOP $1500 NLHE event. Say what you want about the man but he outlasted over 2600 donkeys and is nearing bracelet #11. Also, Allen Cunningham is a sicko. Just won bracelet #5.
  2. Phil is a monster, top 5 poker players of all time easy.
  3. he's gonna do some stupid weak/tight shit like check call with kings on a draw heavy board and get drawn out on, then pay the guy off on the river and bitch about how "i was trapping you" and complain about it being a bad beat.
  4. Do you really think that

    a) he plays every hand this way and
    b) that strategy never works?

I'm not a big fan of complaining either, but the guy uses his antics to his advantage for sure.

Also, it isn't the worst idea to convince yourself that people are getting lucky on you when you need a confidence boost. It may be an illusion, but it seems useful to me.
  5. i lol @ phil's blog every single day

  6. link?

  11. Pocketheadies, en ingles por favor, gracias.
  12. scotty wins, sorry phil

  13. Well you gotta qualify it: top 5 NLHE MTT players of all time maybe.
  14. Weren't Hellmuth and Morgan Machina roommates or something at University of Wisconsin? I remember seeing something about it on ESPN...
  15. I think they were on the same ultimate frisbee team at UW. LMAO @ Hellmuth's goofy looking clumsy ass playing any type of sports. I think he said he ended up breaking his collar bone or something while playing.
  16. LOL @ collar bone ^^^^

  17. Hellmuth is like 6'7 and fairly stocky.

  18. lol at maybe
  19. Lmao he is skinny as hell, don't know what you say he is stocky for, lmao.
  20. I like Phil's blog because he tells the whole story. If he wins 50k doing whatever he tells us about it but he also tells us when he loses 200k. Also because he is honest He knows when he plays like shit and is not affraid to tell us. Yea he brags a little too much but as long as he keeps pace talking about the times he was a sucker I think it all evens out.
  21. Maybe? really? 10 bracelets, on the verge of 11, 59 cashes, most all time, and you say maybe? No, he's one of the greatest poker players ever.
  22. "brags a little too much"
the dude is name dropping machine. all he does is brag about his exploits, with some of his mistakes sprinkled in.

not a knock on his NLHE MTT game, dude obv PWNS the WSOP NLHE events but he's still a giant boob and has giant boobs.
  23. Hellmuth is definitely 30-40 lbs over weight.
  24. all these people complain about how he brags too much in his blogs, but those people are always the first ones refreshing his blog to read his latest entry.
  25. he has cashed 59times .. and won 10 bracelets...

So, on average, he gets a bracelet every 6 times he cashes a WSOP event ... hmm sickness??

Im watching the live feed , and the guy is good.

He is telling them how he is going to beat them (by looking at them and reading them, like he has done millions of times), he is making them imagine it in their heads ...
  26. he is def one of the top five whining sore losers of all time no maybe
  27. hellmuth pwns, you are all haters cuz none of you can say that you've had the success he's had. I predict that if he does'nt win, he goes out in 4th being a 80/20 fav allin preflop

  28. Nice AIM phil Well played
