Latest edition of Poker after Dark Just finished.
Phil Hellmuth played terrible IMO, he's been playing bad all session but tonights was especially bad.
Last hand is a must see, all the other players basically pooed on him.....
check the tube when its posted. For those who watched, how funny was that?
****don't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet**** -
PM me the spoiler plz didnt watch tonight
-
Dont base it on the last hand. Like anyone alive is getting away from that.
-
change the thread title. You have spoilers in your OP.
-
reverse insurance? the table talk was LOL at that point, like watching a trainwreck
maybe there aren't alot of cashgame players on P5s, but the last hand was played badly. I obv don't remember stack sizes going into the hand but it could have gone differently. -
He plays some hands pretty badly and passively at times.. But the last hand played itself out. You tell me how its going to differently.
-
how can i without spoiling it for others?

do you play cash? hand is a no brainer in tourneys, obv.
and again, i'm not sure all details of hand, stacks and all.... but you (meaning PH, have been playing super tight) and villian (meaning PI, is obv aware of that) not saying either should be getting away from it. but the preflop and flop action by Phil Hellmuth is just asking for trouble so he shouldn't have been surprised to get in that situation. When the hands were turned up he seemed shocked and he definitely shouldn't have been. I don't play nosebleeds but I play live cash nearly everyday so I'm not just talking out my ass.
The result is the result and may very well be unavoidable but doesn't mean he didn't play the hand like crap. -
lol phil was such a baby
-
please pm me the spoiler 2

PM me link if/when it gets posted.

its on youtube but that was great lol. love how he thinks he is so much an inferior player than everyone else but yet got outplayed by everyone at the table that time and for the last year or so of anything i have seen him on.
-
in reference to the last hand, he shoulda have reraised preflop obviously. it was a very loose game with a wide range of hands shown. this is an easy reraise pre with the image of everyone else and himself.
-
He previously re-raised KK after an opening of 2200 and one flat call ( I think ) all the way up to 30k lol and everyone folded then he says he should have slow played it - then eventually admits he had KK. Just before that he was saying how he basically folded 49 out of the previous 50 hands or so lol. Then this hand with massive re-raise occurred. He then limped J-8 and immediately folded to a raise.
The hand where PH flopped top set and "slowplayed" it against PI who flopped a straight where PH lost his entire stack was so fucking funny cause he was shocked then kept saying how fucking bad he runs and this was like the third hand I saw him play all week. Two of the hands he played he announced that he "now has a playable hand" lol. Everyone just laughed at him over and over again as he whined and nitted it up then went busto lol. So funny -
I laughed so hard to "I finally trapped someone" i thought Id pee my pants. But as far as the hand goes it was completely standard, no way Ivey's range doesnt include quite a few massive draws and 2 pairs where phil needs to ship it on that blank turn. Ivey bets 23k on the turn into 30k and PH has like 60k or less back, its always going in one way or another.

rooofl that line was great. i also like hellmuth's rant afterwards saying how he wishes DN can crossbook him in his game every day, and DN jumps all over it saying he'd love that.
