    Hes trying to reach 80 hours? That so sick. Im def gonna be watchin more if/when he makes it past 60. Does he get drug tested at any point? lol.

    I've made it through 50+ in Tunica once while drinking vodka-redbull the entire time! Only quit cause i was too drunk to read the flops lol

    I was just grinding some tournys,with the live feed on and volume up decent and forgot about the live feed after awhile,the chip shuffling and names called out for table sitting makes it feel like i was at a casino grinding LOl try it with just the sound and grind .

    I went 48 hours straight playing limit holdem back in 2006, I was borderline hallucinating by the end of it. I suppose an extra full day and a bit is doable.

    Phil Laak was interviewed in this weeks 2+2 pokercast, he talks about preparing for this.

    In the interview he says, no stimulants, he does not us Coke, and he planning on holding out until hour 60 before he starts drinking mochas.

    At 80 hour without sleeping? c'mon! though i love playing poker, but playing poker for about 80 hours is so round the twist! Anyway, Hope Phil can make it atleast for 76 hours to break the record and not to finish at 80.

    I highly doubt he will make it. I used to do 40 + hour sessions once a month or so at horshoe council bluffs, and I would start to halucinate and get chest pains. Longest I managed was a 6 pm friday- 2 pm or so on sunday with a few breaks to walk around.
