This really hasnt been talked about before but I think alot of people have trouble remembering peoples plays and paying attention with onling poker because you dont have an individuals face to look at.Sure there are diferent names but for a visual learner they have nothing to associate that name with.I think pkr.com is going to change online poker because of this fact,I believe alot of people have trouble putting a face on the person that keeps taking pots from them or raising them and then associate the whole table with being loose or tight.I believe that pkr.com will make it easier for visual learners to concentrate.Any thoughts on this or pkr.com?

i think theres a 90% chance that its extremely whack
-
what is whack?good or bad? lol

We'll see.

I actually hate the idea of pkr.com.
If I wanted to have a visually stimulating experience I would either watch some porn or play a video game.
If sites that use minimal graphics, minimal animation keep having server problems (UB, Dise etc) what chance does a program that uses so much more have? I have to imagine that the hands per hour played is going to suffer aswell which only serves to cut into my profit.
I can see the reason for it, the younger generation (haha, i sound old but Im 26!) have been brought up on a selection of high end visual mediums (Consoles, movies etc) where they are used to much better eye candy than is currently on offer in the poker world...... but the question is why are you playing poker? If its for fun and entertainment than im sure you will enjoy PKR.com. If you are in it for the money than im sure you'd prefer to stay in the current generation of sites. -

Game play is much faster the pokerstars. This is after the last few updates. Before then: Forget about it.
Yes, much faster than PokerStars.
Now, since it is so resource-intensive, you wouldn't be able to have as much going on as you would with PS. -
there are plenty of third person shooter games that act on a client server system that run fine so it is definitly do able although I agree that there current software runs slow.Im thinking like within this year there software will be up to par and in the years to come other sites will follow suit

You better have a kick ass computer with a shit ton of RAM in it to run pkr. My 3 gig P4 lags like hell when I tried it out. It was unbearable.
-
How long ago?
one gig is FINE as of a week and a half ago.
Unless of course you think I'm lying. -
I also only have a gig of RAM, works fine for me...dont like it though too much going on.
