I live in Tahiti, where the weather is very humid.
It says online that plastic cards like COPAG and KEM have been tested to withstand such conditions but I have been really disappointed lately.
A year ago I bought decks of red/blue COPAGs and after a few weeks, the back of blue deck's ink started bleeding through the front of the card, to the point that it has become really unusable. What's sad is that I wasn't even using that deck, just the red one! The blue one was sitting in its original case in a drawer, in my living. So no, no exposure to sun or whatever. And now, after a few more months, I can see that the red deck's ink is starting to bleed through also, but only slightly.
I then decided to buy the black/gold KEM, which I absolutely loved!
BUT, after ONLY 2/3 WEEKS after I opened the gold deck (played ONE home game) and it showed wrinkles ALL OVER THE CARDS, every single one of them, front and back. The black deck was still wrapped in the plastic and fine, sitting my drawer. So for the heck of it, I unwrapped it (fully knowing what would happen obviously) and the wrinkles showed up as well after two weeks!
What else can I do? Any other brand even worth buying at this point?
Check out the pics if you don't believe me how brutal it is:

ya my KEMs got like that too, only after a couple times use. Other than that they were just in the box. Very upsetting. Not sure of the cause.

I used something like these ones when I was in Costa Rica during the "green" season. They held up fine. They take a little adjusting but not too much, and at first you feel like everyone can see what you're holding (they can't, of course).
