  1. $15 invested, pays top 36 - with $38 for first few spots and $1750 for the win. 42 remain and I am in 30th place. Player to my left has been stealing when he can. UB pro to my right in the big blind. I have changed the names of those involved. My goal of course is to cash with final table money. What do you think? Overplayed AK? Just unlucky? Or should I fold and consider the bubble, make the money first, and then try to build the stack?

  2. FTW, I don't know anyone who's folding in your situation versus a player that plays any two cards.

    You had him pegged correctly.

    Let's just say BS has a little discipline and only plays the 50% range as shown here on my poker stove. You are so far ahead it's a gr8 match up. Being ahead doesn't mean you'll win. I like the call with AKo.

    equity win
    BOLTACTION: 64.936% { AhKc }
    Blind Stealer: 35.064% {50% range -> 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o }
  3. Playing to make the money is super weak.

    How many times would you have to sneak into the money to make up for the one time you win this thing by playing to win?
  4. Thanks for the input.

  5. I personally think right before the bubble busts is a good time to play a little more agressive. There are many players out there that fold great hands just because they are waiting for the bubble to bust amd do not want to take the chance of loosing a "sure thing". I am not saying anything about making stupid calls, but you had every right to make this call. The board was unkind, but i believe you called it right.
