Did I just make a wrong play or did he make a spewy call for 100k more? Thoughts? -
IDK, bit a of loose call with no club in his A/Q
-
I really thought his calling range here would be about A8+ or of course AKc but I really doubt he was gonna call from his position with AK... IDK just seemed like I made the play I wanted but got called by a hand that shouldnt of called imo... maybe I should of just folded... blah!
-
My only real question is why he didn't 3-Bet you PF. With AQ-suited & you raising an unopened pot from cutoff his range for your open has to be fairly wide, 3-betting you full pot seems like his line to me.
Any thoughts? -
Did you have a really aggressive image up to this point? It's the only reason I can think someone would call you off like that. If you'd shown either relentless aggression, he might have just decided this was a good time to take a stand.
You'd think your reraise on the flop would give him pause, but some people always seem to put their opponents on exactly the hand they want to see in this situation. I can hear him saying, "He must have Ten Jack" or "He had a K-hi flush draw" or whatever and just going with it. Maybe he thought his stack was short enough that he had to take the chance... -
It's a 3r on fulltilt no villian is folding AJ or better here. A check raise in a micro tourny shows he's in love with his hand. I think I peel one and see what he does on the turn, don't mind the shove though. Horrid call by villian obviously though.
