  1. Just looking for some opinions on this play at the FT of a UB $120 bounty last night.

9 people left, blinds 1000/2000 ante 200. I am in MP with 75K (3rd in chips).

Folds to me. I have 1010 and raise 8K, cutoff (45K in chips) makes it 30K. He had been raising a lot of different hands and I thought good chance it was a race. I call.

Flop comes J 9 2. He pushes, I call. He's got QQ and I am now down to 30K in chips.

I realize my 1010 call pre-flop was a little liberal to his raise, is this a no-brain fold pre-flop?

    All thoughts are appreciated.

    Thanks

    AC

  2. I was actually in the same situation a few nights ago deep in a mtt where I played it almost just like u and my opponent turned over KK and crippled me.

After thinking about the hand for awhile I think the best play here is to fold. You have a healthy stack and I cant see him making this re-raise w/ anything less then AK, AA, KK, QQ, and maybe JJ. Out of that range ur at best a 50/50.

Now if u have notes/reads on the guy telling u he is a nutcase or has been restealing alot I probably just get em all in preflop here.
  3. Thanks, I am in agreement
