  1. i think i've read a post about this in here sometime before...but

what are some thoughts on the differences of hu cash games and hu sngs ? i think if ur a better 20 blind player sng is the way to go, and if ur a better deeper stack or postflop player cash game is it .....which can be more profitable? say someone playin' 2 tables of 2/4nl games 8 hrs a day or the sng player that plays two 20-50 dollars sng same amount of hours a day ?
  2. Whats your longterm goalsl is a better question?

Deepstacked cash for better hand reading abilities and postflop play.

SNGS for grinding mass tables and practicing shove/fold, nash and ICM

  3. I feel like HU SNGs would be a lot more frustrating to play and that you could make more money playing cash if you are good. I suggest just playing what you like best and what you can win at. I don't see why you can't mix both in
  4. Its a completely different dynamic. You are constantly deep stacked with no increasing blinds on the table. Plus you can tilt your opponent longer in cash games than in SNGs.

SNGs you have increasing blinds, and play changes constantly.

It really depends on what type of player you are. There are guys that are good at both and guys that specialize in one or the other. Someone that is good at 2/4NL HU is going to have a better win rate than someone averaging a $35 BI in HU SNGs though. The most successful guys playing HU sngs are going to have a small ROI and be winning money on volume.
