  1. At the time this happened the chip leader was pushing the table around quite a bit and I felt I could take the pot down pre flop with a push. But since I've had time to think about it, I feel that maybe there was just to much risk playing this hand this way.

How do you play this hand?

  2. it's just a cooler

all the money is getting in anyway
  3. same way u did.
  4. Nothing wrong with your play...just the cooler here...you're doomed in this hand.

This is a risk you can take with KK every time...you're not going to run into aces a majority of the time...and this is a great spot to try and double up.
  5. Thx for the responses, I've run my KK into this situation two times in a week, both times while deep in a MTT with a good amount of chips.

    Thx again

  6. i go broke here as well...If you say hes been pushing the table around and i look down at KK and see him re raising again the 1st thing i think about is how hes gonna dbl me up and make me the chipleader. dont sweat it
  7. KK preflop is a never fold ONLINE.
  8. I gues two distinct thoughts of logic here, where the vast majority is push all in.

I looked over your chips and the early position where the chip leader reraised. IMHO, folding here is not a bad idea. I am sure you are here for the money, and you have a top 3 working here right now. The chip leader is isolating against cashtorg, so why not let cashtorg call and move you up the ladder here?
  9. I'm broke here without a doubt as well. KK is a great starting hand, and if he has been over agressive it'd be a great chance to doublel up. Running into A's here is just bad luck.
  10. Lucky you.. KK vs AA always takes me out before I even get itm.
  11. this is the worst advice i ever seen
  12. loooooooooooooooooooool
  13. Is this a joke?

Why would you ever fold KK in this spot?
  14. There are times to fold KK, however, I do not think this was one of them. You played the hand well.
  15. I appreciate all the responces to this post, I'm always looking to improve my game.

I never ever considered folding here......I did consider calling or re-re-raise but figured there was no way I was going to fold to a push, also a raise or call has little or no fold equity in this situation.
When I'm unsure about the best play I normally choose the more aggressive of the choices, thus the push.

What do you do here with AK,QQ,JJ

for me AK fold, QQ call, JJ fold

    thx again boris

  16. today i had KK and was absolutley positive the other guy had AA and i called and went all in ne how lol.
  17. Icecoldkiller... you made losing half a grand today a little easier thanks for the laugh :)
  18. I'm not a big fan of a re-raise here. The best hands are really best against 1 other hand. You really don't want to keep the others around. To a bet and a re-raise, I like going all-in. You signal that you have a monster hand, odds are one will duck out. If both fold, you are still getting a decent pot. You got exactly what you wanted, one caller. He happened to have a better hand than you. It doesn't happen often, so don't worry about it.
  19. Big Cooler!! gueese I felt that one myself
  20. The only thing worse that could have happened, happened to me in a live tournament last week. I have AA in the pocket, early 3xs raiser, I push over the top he calls, He turns over QQ. Yep, hit his Q on the river. gg Me. Stuff happens. Thats why it's poker and not "Mansion promo bet".
