  1. no real reads on these guys. taranis was a little active, and i was cautious of his limp. the idea of a pf raise crossed my mind. what do u think of a pf raise? there are 11 players left and im in the middle of the pack.

    what now?

  2. I'd definitely fold, you didn't invest much in the hand and you can lose much. Raise preflop is really silly, you like to play shitty hands out of position? I don't think so.

  3. the raise pf was an idea to punish the limpers with a hand thats not likely to be dominated. the idea is to chip up for the final table. late in a tournament, hand strength can become irrelavant. attacking weakness, and taking down pots without a confrontation is crucial.

  4. i decided to float a card since the button could be taking a stab at it. i want to reevaluate on turn.

  5. I think now you definitley have to fold. Your opponent has shown strength twice on this board with decent sized bets. Your pair of 5s are too weak to reraise with, so I think you should cut your losses now and bow out. I think you should have lead out on the turn after you called the flop bet. If you thought he was just taking a stab at it, a bet on the turn will make him fold. The 9 is also a good card to bluff on because it could have made you a straight since you got to see the flop for free and could have easily called the flop bet with 86.
  6. i just realized i wasnt double gutted on the turn. thats the reason i shove. the shove is awful since i have zero fold equity, and ur right fdel. hes shown strength on the flop and turn, so its time to give up, but at the time i thought i had more outs than i did. hence the donk move, which led to an 11th place finish and a sick feeling in my stomach. i had a very nice stack with 3 tables left, and i let this one get away. this is buy no means the most interesting hand of the tourney. its just the one that busted me, so i posted it real quick to rat on myself about how bad i play at times. gg me.
