  1. How many people here only play MTT's? What type of yearly profits can you make just from doing this? I assume there is going to be a lot of different answers to that but I'd like to hear how the majority of the people on here fair in the long term. Are most of your profits coming from one "big" win or can one make consistent profits just cashing in many of these. I'd also like to hear about the variance that comes with playing only MTT's and any other advice you have. I have only played one MTT before and so any advice would be great to hear.

    Thanks,

    Deev
  2. Very hard question to answer. Alot depends on how many tourneys you plan on entering monthly and the buyins in which you play. Some of the top online tourney pros on here could probably spend 10k or more a month on entry fees alone. I mainly only play MMT and SNGs and have had a good year for my standards since I only play for fun. I have won three 50 and one 100 MMT buy-ins on party this year and it has made up the bulk of my MMT profits for the year. They all happened in a 6 week span. I use sngs and I play a little cash to build my bankroll to play the MMT. I only probably play at the most 5-10 MMT a week(not counting the 180 mini tourneys on stars). Your profits are going to come from top three finishes. My advice would be to make sure you have a pretty decent bankroll before you go strictly to MMT. The variace is going to be huge and you could go long periods inbetween good cashes.
  3. I use SNGs to fuel my MTT hobby/addiction. I've had a ROI of 84% through 75 $20+2 SNGs on stars, but I'm not making nearly as much profit as that would indicate. I regularly play the $10 and $20 nightly freezeouts, and usually the $3R and $5R, along with the $20 180 SNGs.

If I could ever go deep with consistency I might be far more profitable, but as of now I keep donking out somewhere in the early payout stages! Nothing like playing an SNG for an hour and turning $70 profit, then chugging along in an MTT for four hours and squeaking out with double your entry fee.
