  1. What is the smallest tournament that you can enter and still play your "A" game?

I find that if the entry is too tiny, I lose motivation to play my best. After all, it's only a few bucks... Sadly those few bucks add up over time.
  2. Always gotta play your A-game man lol, sometimes it's fun just to fuk around though...
  3. the 2 cubed and 3 turbo knock out are fun. I used to fool around in them but lately I have been taking them serious and it's really nice picking up a few hundo bucks for a mere $3 investment!

But that's where I draw the line, I once played for hours and hours in the Daily $ and won a whole $3, won't do that again.
  4. I find that getting over this is key to managing my bankroll. Sometimes dropping down is important to soften a downswing (by lowering risk and by playing against more fish!). If you don't respect the buy in because you've been playing 2-5x higher, you keep losing.

Good players win because they play well, not because they win flips more. Remember that when you're 4 bet-shoving 55 in MP on the second orbit of that $3 freezeout. :)

  6. $3 mtt is the minimum i can play legitimately. 1st and 2nd are generally over $1000 so i don't mind a chance at that, plus the end game will be donktastic so you can expect to regularly finish higher if you get a stack late. of course you should always have a suicide hotline number nearby for when you finish 22nd out of 3300 players after 6 hours work for $18
ironically as i'm writing this i might have to make an exception for this 2.50+.25 tourney that started at 5pm. i'm strongly debating hopping in, 3k starting chips and 15 mins levels just sounds fun. someone stop me before i make a mistake that i don't realize until i lose in 3 hours for .47 profit

  7. It sure is frusterating to play several hours in a tournament and win $2 or $3. But you're right, if the top prize is large enough, I can still play fairly well.

Wow killer new info thanks brah ;)
  9. I try to play my "A" game every tourney from my 1.10 90mans to both 1.10mtts on stars at 6 and 7, and everything in between usually i make the tables larger for say my 11$ 7pm MTT or any steps 2,3,4s etc im playing and any 5.50rebuys, 1r2a etc....

Just try to play the best at each level, but I do usually give the buy in a liitle thought before acting because you do get diff players at all those levels, IMO... and then as I get deep in any MTT or MTT SNG I usually enlarge the table, esp FT's
  10. i dont play toruanemts when i dont think i can play well. I just try to play more abc in stuff like 10 and 26 dollar freezeouts since people will puint stacks to you when u have the goods. if a tourney is too small for you to concentrate on and try dont play it.
