who decided that was the rule regarding chops? and how do you know what scores came in tourneys that were chopped? seems a little silly that this rule comes right after you chopped and got 2nd in taht big super turbo so it benefits your team and then hurts pikapp's big score.
-
i guess i should have thought of this when i thought i was saving a little equity by chopping lol. i obviously wish i got 1st for plb points but if thats the rule then im fine with it =/

i got first in 109 cubed on wen. and that was for 300 so plbs and it is not on the spreadsheet
-
well i thought it was settled in the last thread. deals were not allowed in the first place iirc, playing for less money on the line ppl play differently as apestyles said. but whatever u want, lets vote about this, but voting after two big chops is just as silly.
-
its not like i made a chop so my opponent would dive to me hu in an ftops, and we were still playing for 9k... but i know that voting on it now could affect scoring b/c the way chops have been done so idk... all i know is i want my extra 100 points for the ship =)
-
well in the other contest, you got the points for where you finished. there were some chops, but theres no way that you can track the chops or monitor them. i think the only fair way to do this is to get the points based on your finish position and go by the honor system and leave somethingto play for if youre gonna chop.
-
I brought that up in the last competition and the rule was not switched to being the average so I don't see why we would here szusza. Pretty sure there is no rule against chopping in this comp right?

i did say no chops in the other thread b/c im pretty much against them and this is the first one ive done at a big ft. just down a little and it was cool to lock up that much... and ape i'm still embarassed about the 910 hand, guess i couldnt run much better =)

here's our scores from today
brain 8th ub500. 112.15
ape 5th stars 50^3. 111.91
ape 9th ftp 150r. 153.82
gov 62nd ps million 160.73
gov 6th ps 200r 159.86
ape 2nd ps 200r 309.03
and this yesterday that needs to be added
ape 1st ftp 50rt 158.43
i think this puts us in 1st for the teams, even after bela's 3rd in 100rt, and titantoms 2nd in the warmup. -
yep, updated it, uve won with about 120. congrats. im too tired to check everyones scores tho, i will take a week off after 20days of soulkilling grindin. gg guys.

the last spreadsheet you posted isn't correct. There were a couple scores that didn't count because they were less than the 30r, 50fo buy in requirement and also you counted belabasci's partypoker score in your spreadsheet which clearly isn't allowed.
Also, plb points awarded to you by p5's in order of the place you finished will stand, i'm not doing average for chops and all this bullshit when we never made it clear beforehand and now ppl are trying to find loopholes or w/e. Sorry if you chopped and then didn't win but thats the way it goes. pocketfives points will stand according to your place and no average finish points or whatever you're talking about.
There were a few cashes from the 2500 ftops that are not in there yet either... -
final results for team: team ape - 4,765.92, team belbacsi - 4,440.97, team titantom - 4,398.83
i did the tedious math for the 3 teams in contention, if anyone has arguements let me know but i went back and checked all the scores on OPR and double checked on p5s to make sure all scores were accounted for and right now it looks pretty clear. -
Double checked and you indeed finish with 1.659.95 for 3rd. Not sure if your first 100c win counted on the 1st but it doesn't really matter either way. thanks for letting me know.

Most thanks goes to Tom for a organizing and tallying - neither are fun but I am sure the latter was a lot better coming off your first SIX figure score!
Grats on the win Team Ape.
Not sure how I ran that hot during the week...doubt I got more than 1/4 of my points on Sunday.
Lets do this again soon. My guess is even those who didn't win the comp made money as s result of the added motivation to grind.
GG ALL. -
yeah, thanks tom! was quite funny and close (unlucky apestyles, i hope you dont 3bet me light the next few hands we play together ;))
and grats doc and team ape! -
noone has ever asked or thankd us for doing this. it was clear that apes team won, there mite have been mistakes, but its bullshit blaming us for not making a tidy sheet. i was oi after we were clearly losing, doubt i care about finishing 2nd or 3rd in this. and i wasnt involved in the single comp. gg neways
-
i never blamed you for anything man, just took responsiblity to make sure i knew who the winners were and wanted to make an error free spreadsheet for myself so i felt confident in sending money to people. no need for hostility. gg, it was a fun 2 weeks.
