Admin,
I know that you guys are working hard trying to keep this board running smoothly, but I wish you would show a little consistency in the types of posts you move, edit, and delete.
For instance, yesterday I posted the following thread in the main discussion forum:
http://www.pocketfives.com/FD589E1F-...F693C4195.aspx
Shortly after posting, it was moved to the Bad Beats Forum.
Now first of all...this is a MARGINAL bad beat post at best. I listed only one bad beat, and I didn't complain about losing any of the hands as each player involved was justified in putting all of his chips in given the situation. Secondly, I didn't ask why it happened, or how it happened...I simply stated that sometimes you have to remember that just because you get beat holding big hands doesn't mean it will happen every time...
Within 22 minutes of this post, edbite posted the following:
http://www.pocketfives.com/8FE84920-...C506BABCE.aspx
This post, however, AN OBVIOUS BAD BEAT THREAD, complete with hand history and a bit of whining, remained in the main poker discussion.
After my post was moved, I felt so strongly that you would leave edbite's thread in the main poker discussion that I made a prop bet with murderer that his thread would remain in the main discussion room for at least 7.5 hours.
If you scroll to the bottom of edbite's thread, you'll see that murderer even tried to influence your decision to transfer the thread. It had no effect.
Please show some consistency with your administrative rights or explain to us what arbitrary criteria you are using to move posts.
Thanks,
Nick -
Cal...np...and no hurt feelings...
I just wanted to make sure that:
A) I wasn't missing something as to the content of either board, OR
B) That there wasn't some other reason my thread was moved
thanks for the reply
Nick
