ill post results later. Im not folding for sure, but I have about 18k left. I can flat and have 15k left to see a heart, thinking that if he has KK or AA which his reraise could represent, I can fold to another big bet. If he has QQ he will probably check the turn. The only risk being that I am actually against AK and I would be freerolling but ending up having to lay it down
If I raise, am I not essentially turning my hand into a bluff?
How much can I call on the turn to see the river if i flat? -
yeah shoving the flop doesn't really acomplish anything, cause he folds out everything you beat. Def check/call flop for value, and basically don't fold. Could get gross if he fires 3 barrels, but I really don't think you can fold at any point in this hand

First of all, how what is this guys image, and have u seen him play many hands. I would say if u have been at his table for while and he has been aggressive, then your first mistake is not re-raiseing pre flop, to get better sense of where you are really at in the hand. This way you get the all the information you need, whether to proceed with the hand, rather than having to make a tough decision later. Like you are faced with on flop, with his bet of 3000. But, if you were just moved to the table or you haven't been paying attention to how he went about getting all his chips. Then you are in a tougher spot. If you think he has been a tight player most of the time, or like you say, you dont want to get involved with the big stack. Then your best option is to fold pre-flop and not get involved in a big pot this early on. Save your chips for better spot when you have more information, and you are much more confident in the hand you are playing. By flat calling the flop and turn, you have created a pot way to big to fold AK at any point after the flop. And you are unsure of where this guy is really at.
I hope this helps.
I'd like to see what he actually had but my guess is JJ or 10s. -
SHIP IT YA NIT, LOVE

that or TT, but you do have the backdoor flush draw
What sort of flop were you looking for after you called his re-raise preflop?
He could easily have JJ/QQ and his 3k flop bet will/should answer that question if his hand is good or not. -
why call pre if you are going to nail a flop, c/c, then c/f a turn brick.
i think flop call is best, but don't fold this hand. -

You have top pair-top kicker and 4 to a nut flush. You are oop, but ur hand at this point is totally underrepped. Only hands your afraid of are AA, KK, 1010! You can play it safe by c/c flop and try to hit ur NF. I would rather c/r this flop. shove turn or check shove...
-
OK, so say I check-raise to 7800 and he reraises to 12500. Then what? At that stage Im pretty sure Im well behind even though I am drawing to the nut flush. Do I fold? His raise can only represent 10,10, KK or AA.
