I've had this typed up for a while but wasn't sure if it was a lost cause or not. Waco's post got me fired up again, so i decided to post this. I looked through my HH's with these guys and anyone with basic poker knowledge could tell that they were cheating 100%. Absolute poker is dumb enough to say they dont have 100% proof which they never will with an issue like this. Well here are my thoughts....
I wrote this to just inform everyone what has been happened to me and many others on Absolute Poker in the past couple months. I know there have already been many threads on this issue, but i feel like i have been cheated worst then anyone. Absolute poker was the first site i started playing on and has been one of my most successful sites over the last 4 years. I have played under "The Grinder" onthere since the beginning (even though most people think im mizrachi). The site has never had goodsoftware or customer support but the players were so bad, i was losing money by not playing there. Over the last month i have experienced something i never thought or ever wanted to happen to online poker.
After looking at many of my HH's, betting patterns, other players HH's, and the Pokertracker, there is no doubt and im 100% sure I have been cheated. Players such as DoubleDrag, Potripper,Graycat, Payup, and possibly Steamroller are all players that have been involved in the Scam. Only DoubleDrag and Payup are the players that i am 100% sure cheated, as i have never played with Potripper and Graycat and dont have HH's on them. In about 4 to 5 short sessions of 10/20 and 15/30 NLH with DoubleDrag, i lost around 60k to him. I never beat him in a big pot, he timed his bluffs perfectly where he knew i couldnt call with the hand i had, he would raise every hand preflop until i got big pairs or nailed the flop and then he would fold , he called my bluffs everytime, and i never saw him have a losing session averaging about 20-30k profit in each half hour session he played. I have played cash games on absolute daily for about a year and have never seen anything close to this and know 100% there was cheating going on.
I am writing this to try and get some help from all of you guys by not letting this issue dry out and go unnoticed. I know some of you have had nothing to worry about with this because you dont play on there or werent affected by the cheating when you did. But please, put yourself in my shoes after i just lost around 80k total to these cheaters. With absolute poker support being so bad i feel the only way I have a chance to get my money back is if they see people abadoning the site and they are losing customers at a consistent rate. That along with many posts and discussions on the the discussions boards on P5s and 2+2 is what I see as my only hope here. So, i am asking the rest of the community to sacrafice a little bit and not play on there even though there maybe a tournament that is a little +EV on there. Email them as much as possible with your concerns, and help me try and get my money back. I appreciate all of your help and have a been an active member in this community for about 2 years. Thanks for taking the time to read this and i hope we can accomplish something here.
Edit: Many people have asked me why would i keep playing the guy and how couldnt i have noticed that something was wrong. He (DoubleDrag) was playing so so bad and when ur in a heated heads up match ur focused and worried about busting him, he keeps getting lucky or so i think and i was like it has to change eventually he cant beat me forever playing this way. I mean how stupid does "online is rigged sound". Until you find out it actually is!

i will never play at absolute. i hope u get something back

WP on having everyone think you were Mizrachi.
I already quit the site until they do something...and if they aren't even going to admit anything went on I doubt that day will ever come. -

Right when I am about to set up an account with AP....guess it's Absolutely GG now!
I hope you recover the loss bro, gl. -
No gamble, this happened to other players too, i just got hit the hardest by these scammers. I dont think its anything on anybodys computers, just possibly a hack into the APs system.
-
Gotcha, I just read through the other thread with the tournament info. I know this kind of thing has happened before, with one player compromising another player's computer and being able to see his cards, but with all the reports coming out it does seem like there is something wrong on AP's end of it. Sorry to hear, I hope AP makes it right to you and everyone else who was affected.
-
I would really like for them to come out and admit that there was cheating going on...
-
yourrrrrrrrrr that guyyyyy.
i remember playing you soooooooooooo long ago, like SOOOOOOO long ago. i first started on AP too. that's nuts, i played you alllllll the time, way before mizrachi or any other pro was even added to that site besides seif.
hope you get paid, this whole thing really sucks -
i have never player on absolute nor i will play there due to all this stuff
i thing this should remain an issue till they recognize what went wrong and make something to compensate loyalo players like you
Until that happens i wouldnt mind if there was an absolute thread everyday just to remind the comunity of what went wrong with them -
bump, keep this one alive.
-
I really hope you get this resolved. Truthfully, I would be contacting a lawyer and finding out exactly what my options were if I were you.
-
why do people keep acting like they can sue these sites? do you really think you can? LOL.
they're in some 3rd world island country that clearly doesn't abide by US laws. you can try to sue them all you want. gl with that.

I just wish absolute would take the blame for once and help out their customers. These poker sites can't run withouts the players and they should go out of the way to help us out and keep the site safe and legit. So frustrating....
-
This is horrible KGB, I like/respect u as much as anyone in the online community, and I hate that this has happened to you. I am now officially done with AP, glgl with getting any kind of reparations. And for the record, I thought u were the Grinder when I hopped in to play u heads up the other night, that was hilarious

i was gonna sign up for absolute until i started hearing rumors about rigging, after reading this post i am definitely staying away. the question i have always had and maybe someone can answer is how do these clowns see what other people have? i would think that it would take a pretty sophisticated program to hack into the absolute server.

The harsh reality is that based on Nat's I.P. trace it was an inside job. That being said, AP is fucked and it's becoming painfully obvious they were in on the scam/theft or at the very least when it was exposed they covered it up as it will surely now be there undoing.
This could go into the tens of millions.

Total BS sir! AP called me the other day wondering why I haven't played in a while and offered me a bonus if I redeposit. I told them no way and explained why. All I got in response was a "okay" and a hangup!! Then I went to use up all my AP points the other day (~90,000) and surprise, no access! I use to play cash games there all the time b/c they were so super soft but have since pulled all money off and will never play there again. As a side note, my friend took the signup bonus offer which was 50 bucks for $1000 deposit plus free entry into 60k event. Guess which of those he got?? None, even after numerous emails and phone calls to AP support. Hopefully more people will take a moment to call them and let them know why they won't be playing on their site anymore!

i have never played oin AP and now never will. i sure hope you get compensated sir...

it has always been my opinion, and i have stated so in here that if a site was ever found to be complicit in orchistrating or helping to orchistrate fraud be it through a random number generator or through other forms of cheating such as we are finding now that the site would be dealt a killing blow. i always thought that most if not all of the sites would understand this and thus take precautions to combat any fraud on their sites. granted, most seem to take this stuff seriously and try and deter it, however, any that have yet to ensure that the site is 100% fair will have to take notice to this as absolute looks to be in real jeopardy of folding.
on a side note, this issue if garnering enough attention may lead to one of two things in regards to US law. A) it will either encourage those who want to totally end off-shore gaming to really end it once and for all by US citizens or 2) make lawmakers realize that we need on-shore establishments that can be monitored and audited by US authorities and lead to safer on-shore companies coming in.
