    We poker players in Virginia are looking to clarify the current gambling laws to incorporate poker as a game of skill..... help us out. Even though it says VA residents.... we will take all. Thanks.

    WHO benefits MOST from having the on-line sites illegal for USA.

    How much money do they have to back themselves with???

    How much money was paid to get this bill up for vote in the first place??

    All of the B&M sites, have lost a great deal of money due to on-line sites, and they
    will try anything to have them shut down.

    So eveyone is going up againest The largest Cash cows on this planet, and you think a petition will help??

    I don't think so islhopr. True B&M cardrooms may loose out on the business of a small group of people who would be visiting their casinos more often if not for the convenience of online poker, but I think the VAST majority of online players are non-traditional customers brought in by the "Poker Boom" on TV and the ease and convenience of online play. Also, I think these millions of new customers are then MORE likely to visit a B&M Casino at some point.

    Also, if you watched the 60 minutes sepecial a few months back the big players in the gaming industry in the US WANT IN on this cash stream not to shut it down. That's the real problem in their eyes, that they are shut out of a growing industry. That's why Harrahs.com is a travel booklet and partypoker.com is a billion dollar company.

    B&M Casino's have not lost money due to Online poker, almost all of them had closed thier poker rooms due to lack of players and income. Due to the popularity of poker from TV and online they are opening up at record pace, The actual B&M casino's would like to see them legalized so they could open their own and dominate the marketing budgets of the current ones.

    B&M's losing money? That must be why they are building new casinos all over the country.... to lose money.
