i am fixing to put on 1k to finally have a real 'roll to play with. i feel that im a solid plo player and a mediocre, at best, nhle cash player. a buddy of mine is offering to coach for a price, obv, which i am fine with. what limits do you recommend playing with 1k if i am wanting to 4 (max) tabling? and also, what other considerations should i take into account when deciding what type of game i going to play. i am having a really tough time making the decision myself. any suggestions would be dope, ty!

ha ha, i knew u were from texas when i saw first line, however "fixin" is the correct usage
and plo all the way, id play .25-.50 plo which is a little risky with 20 buyins, but if u are a good player, it will still be hard to go on a 20 buyin downswing, unless this is your last 1k to your name etc. and u simply cant ever deposit again, then i might play a little lower for now -
i would play a mix of .25/.50 and .50/1 plo with that roll. r u gonna buy in full stack or somthin else? i kinda like short stacking plo u have to find wats comfortable for u

i would buy in full stack. but playing .25 .5 and > sounds a little too risky as i know swings in plo can be pretty bad imo.

what about bbs per hour? which would be better as far as growing my roll? and what about the level of competition i can expect at those levels of plo versus nlhe?

play plo, there are going to be more bad players per table than at hold em on average
