  1. Not a Bad beat. I know I know, you read that and think here we go a bad beat story.

Ok, This is on the bubble and I am 4th in chips. My question is, should I be 3 betting my hand here or just calling to control the pot. I have a monster hand and I tend to just 3 bet and lead out any flop here. But in PLO tournment is it better to just keep the pot small?

  2. What?

No, you jam your stack in as fast as possible. You've got an absolute monster. And you don't post this if you don't lose the hand, so yes, this as at least partially a bad beat/RO post.

  3. You have a fucking monster. With the stack sizes the way they are, you should definitely 4-bet and just accept your edge. If you flat his 3-bet you're going to be in weird spots on the flop.
  4. pretty easy fold imo

  5. Your right, if I win I don't post. But I really was curious since the edges in omaha are so small, if I should be thinking about controlling the pot size in this spot. I will continue to Shove and pray thanks!

that's an omaha misconception. the edges can be quite large actually if you got them dominated. lets say you were against akqt you'd have been up to 75-25. against something like 789t you'd have been 2-1. the double-suitedness adds 10% value against like all nonsuited hands too.
  7. I would not get it allin here unless I had him reasonably covered. You are not at all very far ahead with this hand and seeing the flop is the right move.

Very wrong. He has a monster hand and is very far ahead against the 3 bettor's range, as you can see the OP had him crushed here as he is a little better than a 2 to 1 favorite in this spot and would probably be in even better shape if the 3 bettor had KK.

  9. Thank you for the advice. I guess the real problem I have here is that I was unsure what to do in this tournment situation.

Cash game I am jamming this all day, but just wanted to see what others think about calling vs shoving.

    Thank you.
