After getting sick of betting the pot on the flop with the best hand just to be "bad beaten" on the turn I decided to start checking the flop to see if my hand held up on the turn and then bet it.
So I just wanted to know how u guys play it...let's say u hold AsAcKsQc and the flop comes Ad3dKh...assuming u r playing a low stake game against weak players who never fold flush or straight or low draws, would u bet or check the flop? -
You are holding the nutz ATM - pot it before the low hits. PL - unless you are already short need to get some chips in now if you want to be able to get it in by the river.
my 2 cents -
If you don't bet the flop, you are not getting value for the hands that hold up. By not betting the flop you limit the amount you can charge the chaser to continue on the turn. Therefore, you don't get paid for the times when you have to fold/lose to the calling stations.
Yes, you might save a small amount if you fold when your hand doesn't hold up but you become a long term loser because you haven't optimized the size of your wins.

A wise man once told me that if at anytime you have the nuts in omaha you should bet regardless of what street you are on.

Not true in PLO8. In this circumstance, you're probably right, but you're going to find yourself redrawn to death if you do this a lot.
The OP doesn't say anything about how many other people are in the hand, so I'll assume it's two, maybe three, in a typical loosey-goosey PLO8 game. I'm betting this flop every time...not a ton (definitely not potting), because you're not going to make anyone fold their 42, 52, 54, etc. But you want to get some value out of the people with smaller sets, AK, wrap straight draws, etc., when the turn bricks the low.
If the turn bricks fairly well (7 or higher), then you can still be very confident you've got the best hand, at least on the high side, and you want to bet so that the two lows sit there and pay half their chips off.
