Pnc wouldn't cash check from Pokerstars

    My brother tried to cash a check from pokerstars at a Pnc bank today and they told him it wasn't a valid check.They told him that they called the bank that issued the check. They kept the check and sent it to their security dept.Has anyone else had an issue cashing Pokerstars checks at Pnc banks.

    why dont you guys stop trying to cash the checjks and just stick them in the bank?

    It shouldn't matter if you cash it or deposit it.It's either a good check or not.

    I went to the drive thru of my bank last week, not a PNC bank. The lady said "Where'd you get this check? Have you ever gotten one from these people before?" I said online consulting check and yes I have gotten from them before. I said "Is there a problem?" She said "It looks like a scam check". I said "Oh no, it's a good check" 5 minutes later she said thank you and deposited it in my account. Not sure why she said it looked like a "scam check".
