    Hi,
    I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on "CALLING", huge all in bets, such as 100,000 in chips ($22 rebuy PS),...I had 165,000 in chips,...he had K7h and flopped a king. ugh! Did i make the correct call....I HATE CALLING.

    Also, "CALLING" huge bets with AKoff, does it depend on how many are already involved in the hand, say 2, 3, or 4 all ins and you are last to act....thoughts.

    I appreciate any time taken, to reply.

    I dont know about you guys, but 99% of the time im willing to go down with queens.

    i agree, about 99% of the time I'll die with them preflop. they have been laid down several times before, but not unless it's to a raise and reraise preflop.

    I laid down AK a couple of weeks ago live - there was an all-in and a call (caller had his chips in really quick, too). Flop was A98, one had 99 and the other had AQ. I probably would have called with QQ and still woulda lost, but it's easier to lay down the Big Slick then queens.

    would have to agree with you there....AK is nice preflop but can be ugly post depending on the flop...I have never layed down KK (but probabaly should have) preflop but have done QQ and lower depending on how many callers there were...in this case I would have had a hard time folding that since there was only one player involved...all you can hope for is to get in with the best cards and see if the poker gods like you

    I had KK in a SNG yesterday. I raise from the button, big blind reraises, utg who limped in to begin with goes over the top all in. I fold BB calls, both guys have pocket aces. Flop comes KKx WTF. I knew I was beat before the flop but to see my quads in the muck hurt a little.

    My thinking there is, they both have AX (likely A K), and cancel each other out. I will never, ever fold Ks preflop.

    depends on what the blinds are, how my opponent has been playing, etc.
