WTF no observer chat anymore??? this sucks

We tried to get the observer chat turned on. But it has been off since the start and Stars said there's nothing we can do. We had no idea it was set up without observer chat and this is something we'll specify clearly for future P5s Opens.

our contact at stars set up the event on their end, Adam and I just never even thought that observer chat would be automatically off for the duration of the event. I assumed it would require the buyin in your account, like any other tourney on Stars. Is this something they've started doing with private events?

actually, ideally we'd have it so the only people who could chat would be those in the event or had busted from the event. that would get rid of random beggars who happen to have 20 bucks in their account.
