Haven't read the thread to see if this has been mentioned at all or not but any chance the next one could have a 3000 chip starting stack?
Congrats on the win matdon! -
Should be no prob, we now know there are things we must tell them before setting up the tourney such as structure, chip stacks, and obs chat. We will make sure all of that is better next time

Concur on the congrats! -
I would have had more fun at the final table with observer chat and OT railing, but I may have not ended up finishing as high, or I might have won it. Who knows, butterfly effect IMO.

Edited By: hurron Sep 2nd, 2010 at 09:26 PMYeah, when I pasted the hand to see everyone's cash stats I lol'ed. It was definitely cool to run so deep and play against some superior players. I was definitely running insane though saw KK 5x QQ 6x and AA 2 or 3x along with some other great hands. Hopefully some day my stats will be as good as the rest of the tables and I will see them regularly!Originally Posted by N 82 50 24

Hurron doesn't have much history... -
Next time we'll solicit some feedback on things like level time, progression, etc. Whatever the site can do, we'll implement.
I'd like to do these 3x a year and maybe throw in a Euro-friendly one a fourth time (maybe more often if it's successful). So we'll be doing another one around New Year's or so (obv not on NY).
Awesome job though, making the FT of that event is not easy (solid brag: I made the FT of the prior one, although that one was on Power Poker and it had like 100-something people)! Although running hot definitely helps. -
I thot the structure was great, plenty of time in the levels played, tournament went rather fast for those of us with work sched. And the buy in was perfect for everyone. Thanks p5s... Do this again soon. Maybe for a little less money spent on your part for wcoop but just for us 5ers.

To be clear, PokerStars contributed the WCOOP seats to the tournament. Very nice of them. They basically broke even on the whole thing considering the rake minus the non-raked value of the seats. Which is obv a good deal for them so hopefully they'll be willing to do a similar thing in the future.
FYI, this is now up on the site: http://www.pocketfives.com/tournament/590776/
It's a pretty cool way to look at the cashing results of the event. Also, all scores should now be in profiles and they will be factored into the next ranking calculation.
