    We're having our 9th PocketFives Open on the same site it started, PokerStars!

    It will be Wednesday at 9 PM ET. Find it under the private tourney tab. The password is p5sopen.

    Come join the admins, ranked players, pro pollers, writers and various other members of the community in a tournament for anyone that enjoys PocketFives.com.

    And, as always, there's lots of bounties!

    First Ranked Player Bounty: Be the first person to eliminate a ranked player and win a Seat in the Stars Sunday Million.

    Last Ranked Player Bounty: Knock out the last ranked player remaining in the tournament and win a Seat in the Stars Sunday Million. If a ranked player wins the tourney he also wins the Seat.

    Set of Fives Bounty: First person to win a hand at showdown with a set of fives wins a seat into the Stars Sunday Million. You must post a timestamped hand history to be eligible.

    Best Hand Bounty: The person who wins with the highest ranking hand at showdown will win a seat into the Stars Sunday Million. The hand must go to showdown and the hand history must be posted in the Poker Discussion forum. For this bounty, for example, a six high straigh flush with spades beats a six high straight flush with hearts. If there is a tie we will divide the tournament dollars.

    Bad Beat Bounty: The first person with a pocket pair that loses to a smaller pocket pair when all the money goes in preflop wins entry into the Sunday Million. This is the only type of bad beat that will count for this bounty. For example, if a player pushes all in for 2000 chips with 10's and is called by a 5000 chip stack with 9's and the player with nines wins that hand, the player with 10's wins the bounty. You do not have to be eliminated on the hand to win this bounty.

    Admin Bounty: Knock out an Admin (Adam, Riley, Lenny, Court, or Cal) and win a Card Protector from PocketFivesGear.com

    One question: do quad 5's count for that bounty, or is it strictly just 3?

    lol so if I get a royal flush early stages it'll probably be mathematically correct to check it down and guarantee the 215 :)

    all the hand histories have the date and time in them, you just have to copy and paste the hand history from the table, its in the top left hand corner of the screen.

    You just need to be a member of this forum to compete, right? and cant seem to find the tourneys under private. Maybe it's just me :-)

    Im asking because im fairly new here, even tho i've been reading this forum for some time now.

    If anyone actually loses a coinflip to me after antes come in to play and is eliminated I will give them $50. There is literally no chance of this happening whatsoever.
