On a test basis, PocketFives is opening up a WCOOP Marketplace. This thread will contain all transactional offers, inquiries and dealings. Discussion/debate of the WCOOP Marketplace, possible future P5s Marketplaces and anything else related to this thread should go in our separate thread, "Consolidated Marketplace Discussion". Please do not post ideas, comments, suggestions, etc in this thread as such activity can quickly clog a thread up. This thread is strictly for conducting buying and selling business related to the WCOOP.

Just to head off some discussion, this is where PocketFives currently stands on this subject matter. We want to have more marketplaces for general staking, buying and selling action, etc. We want it to be more comprehensive than the WCOOP. We know that other tournaments are running on other sites (such as the mini FTOPS). However, we are going to start slow with this and see how it goes. We will likely be adjusting rules and tweaking the process as we go. For that reason, this thread is strictly limited to deals related to the 2010 WCOOP.

Here is the format for how an offer to sell action or get staked should be formatted:

What you want to do: [options: get staked or sell action]
Which WCOOPs you want to play: [$300 and lower NLHE, only O8, etc]

References:[list off any players who would speak for your reliability and skills. if you don't have any, say that you don't have any.]

You MUST copy and paste what was written above if you're selling action or trying to get staked. Delete the [ ] symbols and everything inside of them. Replace it with your own information.

Once you've completed your transaction (ie, sold all of your action), return to your original post and edit it at the bottom to say you aren't interested in further inquiries. Don't delete the content of your original post.

And finally, a very important rule: Do not send any unsolicited PMs. Examples of unsolicited PMs include:

- Asking to be staked in a different type of tournament than what someone is offering to stake for
- Asking to be staked when someone is offering to buy action, and vice versa
- Asking someone if they can fit you in once they have already edited and closed their post
- Violating the requirements of someone's post. For instance, if someone requires people with accounts at least one year old, it is a violation to PM them when you joined last week

The last thing we'd like to say is to be careful. Investigate people fully. Make sure that when you're talking to their "references", you're actually talking to that person (people can fake email addresses and other things that make them look like someone they aren't). Deal only with known quantities unless you're okay with getting rolled. Also, keep in mind that very well-known and respected players have, in the past, ended up rolling on a stake. Nothing is guaranteed. Invest at your own risk, PocketFives cannot do anything except to ban scammers.
