This week's featured guest on the PocketFives Podcast will be DoylesRoom Brunson 10 pro Dan djk123 Kelly (ranked #41 worldwide), who took down the UB.com UBOC 5 $300+20 Pot Limit Omaha event Monday night for $26,000. Online, Dan is best known for his world-class performance in the 2009 PokerStars WCOOP, in which he made three final tables, captured two victories, and cashed for over $950,000. In July, Dan Kelly took down the WSOP $25,000 NLHE 6-max event for approximately $1,300,000.

    mhrep on UB. Imabigkidnow on Full Tilt. Dan "djk123" Kelly stormed into the Top 10 in 2008 thanks to his wins in the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand and $100 rebuy tournaments. After a 3rd place finish in the Full Tilt $750k Guarantee in March '08 for $55,600, he went on to take down another Stars $100 rebuy. In November '08, he won the FTOPS X Event #14 ($200+16 NLHE Turbo) for $104,870. Three months later he would place 3rd in the FTOPS XI $6-handed $300 rebuy Event #17 for another $116,700.

    In June '09, he placed 2nd in the PokerStars "Sunday 500" tournament outright for $68,900 and then took down the WCOOP Event #2 ($215 Razz) for $53,400 in September '09. Two weeks later, he won the WCOOP Event #44 ($10,300 HORSE) for $252,350 and then recorded his largest career online tournament cash upon placing 4th in the WCOOP Main Event ($5,200 NLHE Two-Day) for $643,200.

    More recently, Dan has a runner-up performance in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $109,300 (March '10).

    When playing a full day of MTT's how many tables u play at once across all sites?

    How many tournaments played over the day?

    What are favourite dailys / weekly / monthly tournaments?

    Also a talk through any key pots late in tournys that set up for win / or healthy stack at final table b good

  13. wat was more enjoyable and wat do u consider a greater accomplishment for u, final tabling/winning something like the WCOOP ME and other WCOOP/FTOPS events, or final tabling/winning a WSOP event

What seperates people like you gboro moorman etc from the average winning HS MTT reg with an ROI of like 20-40% in most normal tournaments? and what steps can someone like me who has a real solid background and understanding of mtt poker do to make the jump from grinding semi succesfully with like a 15-25% ROI to a 50%+ in most tournaments. and of course im talking about expected ROI not actual due to the absurd variance

  19. How much does your 'image' at the table or how your opponents perceive you to be playing actually affect your play? How does this differ vs good thinking opponents in higher buyins and the straightforward/bad players in the lower buyins?
