  4. If you can't find 8 or 9 other guys to play on an ARMY BASE, I will be shocked.
  5. I am a former Marine...and there was always a game when i was in....I was in from 1999-2004
and yes there is always a game on base.....but Military guys dont have enough money to play bigger games....so I try to find other government contractors who make a lil better money(like 6 figures a year) to play with.....seems to me theres +EV there......lol

  6. its good to know our service men are hard at work fighting for our country.
  7. Right, cause they are not allowed entertainment during their free time. I hope you are kidding.
  8. ^^^^ with all due respect(and by that I mean none whatsoever) Go fuck yourself. Those guys are over there risking their lives so you can sit on your fat ass and play poker. You are a complete waste of human life for saying some retarded shit like that I hope you die in a fiery car crash. and this is the nice version of what I wanted to say

  11. Its always good to keep spirits up with a fun game of cards.. I am not surprised military servicemen and contractors enjoy playing like the rest of the population.. GL to u, most importantly have fun playing, Jaxon
  12. See first of all pdv you dont know me. Let me give you a brief explanation of MY LIFE. I am a United States Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine. I spent from 1999 till 2004 active and from 2004 -2007 in the reserves. I did a tour in Afghanistan while I was a Marine. A matter a fact we was the first in Afghanistan. hmmmmm so let me see...i did a 9 month tour then I get back and then im sent to Iraq....did a 9 month tour there. In July of 2004 I got out of active duty and enetered the reserves. I came to Afghanistan January of 2006 as a government contractor. I work 12 hours shifts 7 days a week for 4 months staight and then i come home for 2 weeks. Yes I am compensated by the pay and no I dont play poker while I am at work....I have about 4 hours or so to play when I get off my 12 hour shift. Have you ever been in the Military pdv...have you.....I did my time and I am more Patriotic then most people that I have ever met. I still whistle the Marines Hymm all the time. Ive did 2 tours in the Marines. What have you done for this great country where you can sit on your butt all day and play poker huh.....wtf have you done.....you tell me..... I think i have a lil room to talk about the shitty ass pay the government gives the Military since I was paid by them for 5 fucking years....most I ever got was 500 and some change every 2 weeks.....so dont tell me how to talk I have walked many many miles in a pair of combat boots.....have you

    redirected it sorry table

  13. Yeah Tbl that was way over the line. Wtf is the matter with you?
  14. I'm pretty sure Tbl was referring to PDV's post , not the OP

    Relax there guys ...
  15. ^^^^^^^ yea its pretty obvious through his context he wasnt referring to the OP..

    Reading comprehension FTW

  16. No shit. Thanks for the service, but you should've directed that comment at PDV1979 or whatever it is, not Tbl Captain who was telling him to STFU.

    *EDIT* PDV1979 GFY

  17. sorry for the confusion guys, it was definitely directed towards PDV. I have the utmost respect for the men and women in the service and would never have a negative comment towards them. Maybe I was a little harsh but shit like that makes my blood boil and the goddamn media over here is a main reason why people feel its ok to trash the military, what many people forget is that the marines and other units like them pretty much have no choice on where they are sent and what they are asked to do. The commanders say go here and do this and if you dont you are in BFT. The troops need our support now more than ever.

    /end rant etc etc
  18. is gonna be rough, but I cant just sit here and read it...

"that the marines and other units like them pretty much have no choice on where they are sent and what they are asked to do. The commanders say go here and do this and if you dont you are in BFT"

so get out from the marines and stop being a weapon/tool in rich peoples pocket....
  19. Maybe serving our country for Pride is better than serving our country for the money gus. Maybe you should take a moment and look at U.S. Military history and how the United States was built. It was not built on poker....but blood that many men shed so you could be here today and play your poker....

  20. Im was talking about a different thing, not about poker-money at all, but I dont want to go further on this forum...
but again, I just cant be quiet...which part of US Military history you so proud? killing the indians or drop the atom bomb? Or training Osama and his fellows? ?

edit : ...and thanks for God Im not living in the US..
  21. PDV your an idiot. That is all.

  22. Thank you for your service Curtass. I am working on my 9th year of service with the United States Army, and am currently serving in Korea. I too have served my country overseas on several occasions. Kosovo (1999), Bosnia (2000), Iraq (2002), Afghanistan (2004). This will be my last year as a soldier. Like you, I will always be a soldier at heart.

Poker is a passion of mine, I've been playing for a long time now. We always found a way to play when deployed. It helps take your mind off of other things you just don't want to think about all the time. I'll admit, poker has been more popular during the past 3 years than before. Hell, we played spades for money when I was a private all the way up thru corporal. Either way anybody who has a problem with service men and women taking the little down time they have to play some cards, quite frankly can kiss my ass.

  23. Both my parents are Iraqi, God Bless you guys.
  24. FTR it was a joke
  25. "but again, I just cant be quiet...which part of US Military history you so proud? killing the indians or drop the atom bomb? Or training Osama and his fellows? ?"

    Can some1 pls answer this?
  26. You are kidding, right? Please tell me that you are not ignoring that George Washington led the first Army of this country in the Revolutionary War, leading to a victory. This victory (with the help of the French) is the very reason we were able to become democratic society, free of the iron fisted ruling of one tyrant after another at the head of a Monarchy. Do you enjoy the freedoms you have just because you live in the United States? If you answer yes to this question, you need to take a serious look at how we came about putting together the structure of government which allows us those freedoms. The bomb at Hiroshima? The indians? Training Osama's men? GTFO of here with that nonsense. Political agendas and military tactics have always gone hand in hand. It is not the fault of the soldier when a bomb is dropped, or when he is sent to a foreign country to train and teach men how to defend their own homeland. The indians are a history of their own. We could debate about these topics for months on end, however I will not do so here. Understand you need to look at he bigger picture and be grateful for the things you do have. Anybody can sit back and nitpick/armchair quarterback events in history. Here's a question for you though. What are you doing to ensure that the things you do not like about this history, don't happen again in the future? If you can't answer that, don't talk to me. Don't ask questions if you do not have a VIABLE solution. Your questions beg questions in return. Take your ignorance elsewhere please.

  27. look dipshit it was a joke... its a forum you dum fuck! how many of you idiots on here say stupid shit over and over? do you think telling someone to die of aids is any different? wake up douche!

  29. I don't want to get into this because you come off as ignorant, but just as one example try looking up hat happened on D-Day on the beaches of Normandy.
  30. Gus, worry about your own country. We don't need a kangaroos input on America and our history. Oh and while you are at it, please have your Prime Minister kiss our ass some more.

    K thx
