No not true at all. I like Ali and think he does a "great job" as the commentator on the regular show. I also liked him when he did the old ultimate bet Poker show that used to be on and the NBC heads up. I think he is actually a really good commentator and funny when he commentates. He cracks me up.

BUT, as soon as he came on camera on PAD last night I could tell he was just trying way to hard to be funny and get air time and it just wasn't working at all.

I dont know any other way to explain it but it wasn't a standard flow of conversation it was as if he was trying to create discussion and say witty things.

Again I dont hate him, I'm just making an observation. That and the fact that watching an SNG in a 6 player format is just plain boring. Especially for the small amount of money comparitively to whats on other poker shows.

I also don't he's horrible at poker, he's probably much better than me agreed. Thats not related to my post though.

ok so it wasnt just me.. i thought Nejad was acting kinda weird. kinda feminine. not that theres anything wrong with that

Maybe its just me, but you seem so bitter in a lot of your posts and make a lot of assumptions as to what people are thinking and then get worked up on it.

And regarding OP, I can't agree more. The cash game PADs were amazingly good and Ali is out of his zone in front of the camera. He seems to be trying too hard and it comes off as awkward. The commentator Ali is way more chill, natural and fluid which just sets a better tone/mood for the show. Also the temp commentator is boring, they should just have Ali go over it post preduction.

still agree with what I said, Ali was just having a good time and yapping ,how often do you get to be in front of cameras on NBC playing poker, let him do his thing

ps...I met him in real life and he is always like that, very talkative and outgoing person who seems to really enjoy his life.

on the other hand Joe Sebok i found to be a complete douchebag...1st 10k tourney I ever played like 3 or 4years ago at Borgata he was at my table and was on the button when I was in the bb for 8 hours on day 1...Pretty much every time it folded to him he would raise my bb and I called or reraised him a lot... I won a fair share of those hands putting him on tilt till finaly he raised my bb again i called w/ 45 sooted, flopped bottom pair , he fired a bullet on every street , i called him down he had air. after the hand he was so tilted he acted like a complete douche moron. He started talking shit to me about how bad I am and how i should keep calling him pre with 45, I replied I will since your donk ass is going to dump his chips to me every time , why not? to which he replied "you are a nobody,nobody knows you, do you know who I am?'' lol

Man that sounds terrible. I know I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if someone had enough confidence in my game to invest thousands and thousands of dollars in me. Backing is a business, and if they have other horses that are more successful obviously they'll invest more money in them.

I used to like the SNG format of the show but now they're so very dull, defs cash games only needed.

I like the 250k buyin SNG idea tho.
