  1. Anyone know offhand what games they spread at Commerce, and limits? Their site is unhelpful. Or the Bike? And anyone know if either place has night tourneys, looks like Commerce has tourneys every morning..
  2. The Bike as NOONER $40 buy in Tournaments. They have Night trnys but the MINI series is running.

Commerce has $100 Tourneys as well
  3. any limit you can think of at Commerce... Bike has a lot too, but Commerce has more big games. and MUCH better food at Commerce.

  4. I believe Cardplayer has the list of daily LA tournys that is pretty complete. You can play tournys all day and night in that city--run from one casino to the next.

But Commerce is my all-time poker favorite for anywhere in the World. And if you want to play above 9 18 limit--the must place to go with the most choice at games.
  5. hustler also has a great tourny on mon wed and thurs..
  6. WEC, how often do you go? I am there every weekend.

Whats the safe buyin for 9-18? (I usually play 4-8)
  7. Do you know where that is on the cardplayer site? I looked last night and couldn't find it, it only listed some bigger tourneys it seems like, but sounds like you are saying there are a lot more? thanks by the way!

  8. Hi Vegas--

I go as often as I can fly over there. Once every few months.

The usual buy in for the 9 18 is a rack of chips (300). 6 12 is a little bit less of a chip throwing wild fest and the usual buy in there is (200).

You will usually find me in the 30 60 40 80 section.
  9. bn2b,

Not sure about the site, but the magazine itself has an extensive list of daily tournaments in LA. Although, for some reason the latest edition (WSOP SPECIAL) does not have the list. Every casino in LA carries cardplayer--so the best bet is when you get there, grab the magazine and go through the various tournys.

    Have Fun.
  10. Commerce takes a $5 rake on low limits..........not profitable........

  11. Who cares bout the 5 dollar rakes--They make up for it with experienced dealers, experienced floor men (You want your decision made by some knucklehead who doesnt know the right rule) and a hella comfortable sweet environment.

And the "swimming Donkeys swinging from the trees" will more than make up for the 5 bucks with tremendous ACTION not to be seen anywhere else in the World.
