I play in a great local MTT league. We have 12 events, nightly payouts and some of the buyins go towards the "league fees" which is a prize pool for the top xx # of finishers in the league. Points are awarded based on finish, with 1 for playing and then increasing from the final table down to first. The top point earners at the end of the set # of events win the prize pools, etc. I am wondering if this exists online. I haven't seen anything like it in my travels. I think it would be very fun to have capped leagues...ex...200 people per league, spread 10 events over a month or so ($25 or $50 MTTs) open only to those 200 people. After the 10 events the rankings are final and the top 5 or 10% will win cash prizes... Thoughts? I'm just bored playing a bunch of 180 man's and I hate MTTs w/ 300+ people, which most all have nowadays.

i thought poker x factor had leagues and stuff like that, ask somebody who actually subscribes to that or any other training site. i help run a league myself(live, obv) that has been going 5 years strong now. when we first started we had one game a weekend and maybe a total of 10 games for the entire season with the same 25 dollar buyin every game. the last couple of years weve grown and were now up to 50 games this season, we play 1 every saturday night and 2 games every sunday with buyins ranging from 15 to 100, most of the games tho are between 15 and 35. you earn points for finishing in the top 10 each game and of course a 100 dollar game is worth more than 15 points wise. we also have some deep stacks and rebuys and a portion of each buyin is towards the pool at the end where the top 10 in points make the final table and all 10 walk away with some money at that final table. 1st in points obv starts with the most chips at the final table and so on and son, winner of the reg season and final table each getta hat with our lg name on it and stating theyre champion. btw ive won the reg season the last 2 years goin on 3

There are dozens of pokerleagues online. Many are freeroll leagues but there are plenty of buy-in leagues also. I won't mention names of the forums that have these leagues here, but the one I play the most has 8-10 games a month at various sites and awards the monthly buy-in champ a ticket to a tourney at 2 of the sites we play on. To buy-in to these tourneys the cost is almost 600 dollars.
Great deal and a load of fun playing with good players.
PM me if you want more info. -
Thanks - Ideally the sites themselves would run the leagues...if done properly I think it would be best and easiest for all. Full Tilt could charge the entire $500 or whatever it is up front and then you have a set schedule for the month. They could run leagues each month with the monthly champs (or top 3 or whatever) playing in a yearly event, or whatever...
