Recently I recieved an email from stars stating that investigations into some colluders in the double or nothing tourneys have been resolved with them being banned from the site, and that the ppl affected recieved compensation for the losses during these tourneys.. They siezed there accounts and distribitued them to those affected!!! Great job stars i know this could happen, but had no Idea I was a victim.. Props to the security team for taking actions!!

i only tried the $1.10 DoNs a few times and got a refund, collusion must have been rampant in those if they are cheating the dollar games

it's too bad they will be out of business once legislation passing legalizing online poker
ahhh, the irony of it all -
I used to play those silly $52 double or nothings. They were super juicy in early 2009 and I raked in a ton of cash doing them, but eventually grinders found out about them and jumped on the bandwagon. The tools couldn't wait for their turn and would line up to play 12+ in a row even though 5 or 6 grinders were already signed up. So dumb. But anyways, I have received TONS of collusion credits from pokerstars from double or nothings, which makes me wonder how many times colluders were NOT caught and I was affected as a result. Overall, DONs have just become a bad proposition for the serious poker player. Not only are they extremely boring and make for a miserable fucking existence grinding them, but they are infected with grinders and cheaters.

I should play these DON's again. I could get lucky and beat the colluders = profit OR they beat me, get caught and I get my moiney back!
