    It seems like they start later in the year every year. Does anyone know when they're starting?

    Usually start after SCOOP.

    Last year they started after the Scoop, but with the scoop starting late this year and not ending til the middle of may I would hope stars wouldnt wait til its over, if they did they would only have a month of qualifiers.

    stars doesn't care about the WSOP as much as it's own headlining tournaments. They gain next to nothing by sending players. They can just wait for the final table and get their 2 guys to wear patches then.
