Poker superstitions?

    Anyone else feel that a change in background, animation, full card or not etc makes a difference in whether you get sucked out on or not. This morning I turned off full card on FT and BAM 99 vs 55 holds, no one hits their gutshot on the river and all of that good stuff. Anyone experienced similar results? Discuss.

    I've also noticed that if you don't look at the moniter when you're all in pre-flop, you get sucked out on less. Oh, and don't mentally picture the card that you don't want to hit, because it will come harder than Ron Jeremy.

    There is documented evidence that singing "I'm a little teapot" during all in's will cause you to catch more flushes than you would without singing. If you do the spout and handle gestures, you will hit more straits.

    Full card shows your cards to your opponents when you're dealt your hand. It really makes bluffing difficult.

    Instead of seeing only the top portion of your hole cards, you see the entire card. All four corners. Boom baby....

    ...makes not a damn bit of difference.

    if im running hot/ not getting river fucked 24/7 then i will stay logged in for as long as possible.
    im pretty sure it has nothing to do with it but i do it anyways.

    I know this sounds silly but ...

    I have found a direct connection in live poker between

    calling somebody all kinds of bad names when you lose

    and getting the crap beat out of you.

    i always leave the lobby window open until the first hand is dealt, then i close. Sounds stupid but it seems to work

    I have superstitions in live cash games when I play (almost every weekend). On some tables I won't sit in seat 1, on others I must sit in seat 1 or seat 8. I never wear my watch as I can never win when I am wearing it. I don't wear my pokerstars hoodie becoz I never get paid off with my big hands. I always have my chips in $150 - $200 stacks, never $100 stacks, and I never change up the $5 redbirds for $100 chips with any players.

    I always root for my cards to come up with all in preflop, and i would always lose. So now I root for the other persons cards therefore i win.

    i once lost 2 buy ins in my first 2 hands on 1/2 nl live

    1. a/j, board is a/2/j/j/3, im put all in on river i snap call, guy flips a/a
    2, j/8 board is 8/8/2/7/9 i get put all in on turn, i call (crying call) guy flips 7/7

    i go home change my shirt, come back and crush the whole table and leave with $1700, 1300 up in 3 hours.
