why did pokernews wait 2 days before confronting her. Something had to go down between that time. Too bad too, she is hot.
-
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, thats pretty crazy.
im really surprised they made this public, guess they felt pretty betrayed and pissed.
hell hath no fury like a pokersite scorned? -
UB is very sneaky....
maybe annie resigned...annie used to be the young attractive girl in vegas so maybe tiffany is the updated version? -
I think they (pokernews) did well.
-

news flash : women are fickle
-
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee even poker news says "f ub"
cute but not too damn smart at all wtf did she expect if pokernews bought her in? -
why o fucking why would she sign with UB so prematurely...did she really not realize that she was about to get whatever she wanted from any poker company..beauty, ability, and until i read this, brains! so fing dejected by the shortsightedness from her.

WWICS
a bish is a bish
standard how the fuck is UB even allowed to dawn logos at one of Pokers most "prestigious" events? -
She must have signed with the "OLD MANAGEMENT" at UB because as we all know the "NEW MANAGEMENT" would never do any such shady thing.
Just ask "honest annie"
need -
Bummer.... She was wearing all the Poker News logos too. Maybe she didnt know she needed to consult them first. ?? Im sure her mind was on the game and her agent probably freight trained over everyone.
-
What she did was wrong but i'd def do her while she's wearing that UB stuff... gotta use something to wipe off with after..

Anyone have any contacts at Pokernews? Think they need a good, heavy hitting employment lawyer, ie, ME! Any contact info would be appreciated!

Most of you are reading into this WAAAAY wrong. This single paragraph out of the press release pretty much sums it up.
It was later confirmed that without any consultation with PokerNews, Tiffany went ahead and signed a sponsorship deal with Ultimate Bet. While we welcome such sponsorship deals between online gaming operators and players, as a company we could see no reason as to why we were left out of such negotiations, especially considering the relationships that PokerNews has with all such entities. Tiffany was bought into the event by PokerNews and had a signed player contract with PokerNews Ltd. We believe, that based on advice from her agent that the contract may have loopholes; she went and made a deal with an online gaming operator that completely contradicted the trust that we had put in her, both as an employee and as a sponsored player. As an organization we felt completely sabotaged by Tiffany, her agent and Ultimate Bet.
It is not UB's responsibility to know if a player has other agreements/arrangements. That is for the player/agent to work out. Obviously she/her agent found that UB's offer was worth burning the bridge built with PokerNews. -
I beg to differ. UB had ample notice that Tiffany was sponsored by PokerNews. By sponsoring her, they in fact are potentially liable for tortious interference with a contractual relationship and if I were PokerNews, I would look to take action against both Tiffany and UB. the interesting fact is that PokerNews stated that there was a loopohole in the contract that the agent used. I'm sure UB's lawyers also looked at Tiffany's contract and agreed with the agent on the loophole. Maybe it's not even a lophole but rather an outright statement allowing Tiffany to go with someone else if she lasted long enough.

I think you may be misinterpreting what PokerNews is saying. They didn't say there was a loophole -- they said they believe her agent advised her that her contract with PokerNew may have loopholes.... which in essence could potentially get her out of her contract...

She should have just wore an UB hat/patch and a pokernews shirt/patch. They should be pissed if she stopped wearing their stuff all together after the UB deal, I just watched her interview on pokernews and she was wearing all UB stuff.

Weren't there some issues about the ownership of the T6 poker site as well? Pokernews seems to have no problem promoting the heck out of that site because its owner, Tony G, is affiliated with T6.
I understand that Tiffany Michelle may have signed a contract with pokernews which could have precluded her from entering into a deal with UB and that's a valid reason for pokernews to be upset. But criticizing UB's operations while at the same time continuing to promote T6 as heavily as they do seems a bit hypocritical to me.

first they take our monies, then they steal our women.....how dare they.

I think it was pretty good of pokernews to wait until after she busted out. Had they complained while she was still in it would have made them look bad.
