    It is with sadness and regret that we must announce that Poker Pages and all of its related services will be closed on October 31, 2009.

    For many years Poker Pages has enjoyed providing the best source of poker related content, arguably the Internet's largest and most complete live poker tournament results and listings database, as well as a place to play poker for free. These services will certainly be missed, but we realize that the most appreciated benefit of our products and services has been the community created by our user base. We thank you for the many great years you allowed us to provide you with the best poker content on the Internet and wish you all the best in your future poker endeavors. It has been a pleasure and a privilege serving you over the years!

    oh sure just as i was about to actually start using the links to upcoming live $300-$500-$1000 donkaments that ive been reading about for 3 or 4 years..... standard

    go to pokerpages.com its on the front page as the featured article...

    I think this was the best site for reporting live tourney results... they were really good at covering small buyin trnys as well as the higher buy ins... separating the rankings into prorank2(minors) and prorank1(majors) was cool too.. ive been all about building my pokerpages profile.

    Any other really legit sites that track live tourney results for all buyin levels?

    saw the pokerpages lady in biloxi and she said she got let go, so now it makes sense bc i thought she did an exceptional job

    This makes me sad. I used pokerpages all the time as its the most reliable database imo for the smaller buy in tourneys across the country. This is actually shocking because of the traffic I assumed the site gets. Maybe assuming is my problem....

    Any of you folks sitting out there with some liquid assets should look into this for a business venture. The site is well known amongst the community and surely with the correct business model can be profitable. I have no idea the reason its closing but there has to be some value there. Someone, SAVE POKERPAGES!!
