Ive been going through my worst downswing ever lately and was wondering if this is normal? Im down about $300 still after having two pretty good days but was wondering anyone who grinds these consistently what your worst downswing is looking like?
Also avg profit per day numbers?
Thanks -
ive played these and have had huge up swings and down swings. I like the 3.25s because i have never had a huge downswing, but the money comes in a lot slower

$6/45's are getting tougher... Even for the top tier players. Maybe do a HH swap and have someone look through your entire game. By you looking through their game, you might find spots where you aren't playing optimally.
Swings are not just dependent on the game, but also on your emotional stability. Not dissing... Just saying we all handle the swings differently. Switch to STTs for a bit to get back to easier decisions. Then, hopefully, when you go back you'll feel more confident.
Maybe you need a coach? Vers, with SNGMentors, used to charge $100/hr. Google him for his blog, read some back posts, and you'll realize its not just you having tougher times. He also has info on there about coaching, if he's still taking students. GL -
i think thts pretty standard, ive been grinding these lately (only played about 600 so far because of university exams) and ive had 2 downswings of a bout $200. i think the main problem tht keeps you in these swings is the tendency to play too tight around the bubble because you feel that you need to cash in something. i feel once youve played enough and experienced enough downswings you will know the only way to get out is to keep playing the same way and maybe open up your shoving ranges late on.
as for win rates, i have about $1.60 a game but only over 600 games and 10-tabling. obv the more tables the lower your win rate. for some mor realistic targets, two known grinders, 'frostbrn' and 'autosurrf' both have win rates of $0.90/game in these, although i really believe a higher win rate is achievable. -
I feel like alot of the 45 grinders have dropped stakes and upd volume after seeing what boku did. It really seems like they have gotten tougher over the years.
