I am disconnecting from stars as well but no problems with my internet or other sites I am playing on. Who are your internet providers??? I know other people on stars with no problems now. I am using Bright House (aka time warner cable)
-
yeh time warner here

Reason: But everything else works fine -
Im using time warner, but that's not the problem because my internet is working fine. I expect a refund.
-
I think its possible its something wrong with bright house/time warner. My husband is working from home and he keeps getting disconnected from his VPN but he can still access the internet. He contacted his technical deparment and was told there is a widespread problem for only bright house. He works for a large company and the only people having these issues are bright house users.

Dang. so frustrating... I really had some hope I might at least get some $ back.

Was alive and doing decently I thought in 6 tournaments and came back to 3k in the rebuy and 25 chips in a 180 man. busto in everything else -
Might not get money back from stars but you sure as hell can demand a ton of credit from bright house/time warner for screwing us over.
-
I'm asking for refunds for 6 tournaments. Here is my email from Stars support :
Hello,
Thank you for contacting pokerstars.
PokerStars is currently experiencing some server connection issues. We are
now working on resolving the problem and appreciate your kind patience. We
sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We will be considering refunds for materially affected players. "Materially
affected" means you missed a considerable number of hands and lost a
significant portion of your chip stack due to blinds and antes. If you
believe you were materially affected by this issue, please email us with the
following subject line:
"REFUND: T#_________, $X+Y, User ID"
Where "________" is the Tournament ID, "X+Y" is the buy-in of the
tournament, and "USERID" is your PokerStars User ID.
For example, "REFUND: T#123456780, $20 + 2, KidJoker"
For multiple tournament refund requests, please note additional tournaments
