  1. Would banks investigate/look into where funds are coming from if I cash out via bank wire?? Its just seems like it would be so much faster than having to wait on the checks (plus there are limits in how many checks you can cash out and the amount) Was just curious if anyone knows what banks think about large bank wires (I bank w/ Wachovia)

And no........this is not a hidden brag post. This is a serious matter and I appreciate any input some of you may have. I guess I'm just paranoid about depositing money from poker sites into my checking account and wasnt sure if doing a bank wire would raise or lower any suspicion.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Investigate what? Are you a criminal? are you wanting to avoid taxes? Just use the wire and hire a CPA...... Much faster and you avoid going to the teller with a large check that the manager and everyone wants to look at for no good reason..

  3. I see why you are asking, two big wins in consecutive days. Nice, I badly want to deal with your problem right now. I have heard that the checks are not a problem although I am sure your bank might hold onto it for a few days until it clears.
  4. Do a wire... you will have it in 3 days....

  5. At this point I'm kinda leaning towards the bank wire b/c I dont see any downsides (besides the bank maybe charging a $20-$30 fee). Next question........If I want to cash out say....$30K does it matter if I do it all in one transfter or is there any reason why I may want to break it up into 3-5 wires?

  6. Well you cant cash out 30k at one time on pokerstars but you can cash out 2500 every 72 hours... ---New policy
  7. LOL, thats def not true ^^^^

just do a bank wire since max cashout for checks is 5k and im sure you're doing more than that

  8. ^^^^^^^^^^

um, that def. is true, $2500 every 72 hours
  9. agree to disagree

  10. Im assuming they mean 25,000 not 2,500
