    i am an american as most of the online players are... you said the money is safe and the you said you are not sure about the american accounts... i am a but confused? what should i do if they stop allowing firepay and neteller to deposit funds? does that mea they still allow them to withdraw funds or seize all together? should i leave as much money in the poker sites so that i can continue playing and request a check when i win or what? really concerned...

    Food for thought.

    This is just a load of saber rattling. We will see within the next 270 days when the legislation and regulations are written that online poker and gambling will be permitted but only if the company is situated in the US. This is to give the greedy fucks in Las Vegas who run the casinos there a head start to set up their operations in regards to their own online poker/gambling sites. We will also find that they have a hand in the regulatory bodies who govern these sites. This is basically a move to keep the $$$'s (gaming sites profits) within the US for tax purposes and there is, in fact no moral reasons behind it what-so-ever. These are the actions of a cash starved country who have blown their bankroll fighting innocent people all over the world and sending brave Americans to die wihout just cause.

    Ooooooops, went off on a bit of a rant there at the end but my logic I believe is correct. This is nothing more than the first steps of regulating and restricting the online gaming sites to US based.
