Pokerstars Connection/Lag issues despite no internet problems.

    The last few days on stars my games have been really laggy and I disconnect often. Sometimes it's just for a few seconds, sometimes its up to 15-20 seconds and I come back timed out.

    During these D/Cs I checked my web browser and everything was working with very fast speed, I checked the 'Network Status' on the Stars client and every one of the test sites said 100% connection.

    So is there anything to do to help this? It's weird because every other part of my internet connection works fine but the stars will randomly d/c me.

    Is there any ports I can open/forward to help this or anyone out there with a similar experience?

    Check the other programs you have running in the background. From my experience, downloading torrents with something like uTorrent at the same time, significantly impacts my stars performance. I'm guessing that programs like uTorrent run on similar ports as stars, whereas browsers would all run on the same set of ports.
