    I amy trying to deposite some money at pokerstars. The amount I want to deposite is bigger than my current deposite limit. I Email them and they raise it, but not by enough. I email them back and ask for them to raise it further. I then get an email asking for copies of 1) drivers Lic, 2) elec. bill, 3) THE 2 CREDIT CARDS I USE ON THEIR SITE 4) a written response as to why I use several different cards to deposite.

    I sent back everything except for the credit card copies. I sent along a note stateing that they could call me or verify them another way, but that I was not FAXING COPIES OF MY CREDIT CARDS to anyone.

    They repied that until I do, Im stuck at this limit.

    Anyone have this problem/solution????

    you are going to have to send it eventually if you want to withdrawl. I've done it for a few sites, its just the reality of on-line poker now-a-days

    I just scanned an emailed a copy of my DL, front and back of CC and utility bill to get my money out of Absolute. I have never had to do that before with either PS or Fulltilt. What pain in the fucking ass!!!

    I will never put money in Absolute ever again!

    Why are you willing to give them the credit card numbers when you deposit but refuse to send them a scan to prove that you are in physical possession of said credit cards?

    for every person that bitches about a poker site actually asking to verify you are who you say you are there is another person bitching that poker sites aren't doing enough to protect them. Its the way the online world is now days get use to it.

    Why not make a deposit of the amount you can, and then make another for that amount the next day, and the next day etc. By now you would have it done if you did. Unless its a big chunk. Just do what stars wants, they arent gonna screw you. Ive never heard of stars beating anyone.
    With all the multi accounting shit thats going on, that is why they are crackin down on id and such.

    People will complain about anything. I have no doubt if tbone111 had his credit card maxed out by some jabroni at the local TGIF who decided to write down his card information while ringing up his jalapeno poppers and strawberry margaritas he would be on here bitching and moaning about how pokerstars didn't do enough to verify the identity of the person using his card and how it was unacceptable of them not to have some better security measures in place.

    Seriously. Copy your credit card and fax it to them. No russian hacker is going to intercept the communique' you paranoid yutz.
