    i was trying to change my image on pokerstars, but it said you can only make one change, then I emailed stars and they sent this:

    One of the ideas behind images at PokerStars is that they will help
    identify you to other players at the table (similar to User ID). If we
    allow for constant changes, it will take away from this idea.

    We understand that when a player first selects their image, they might not
    give it much thought. This is why we allow one change. However, in this
    case we can make an exception. I have updated your account privileges so
    you may change your image one more time.

    To change your Image select "Account" > "Select/Change Image" at the top
    of the main lobby.

    i dont like this idea at all, i mean this is why our username is permanent so we can identify people, but i mean how can they restrict us on changing images, i think we should have the freedom of putting what ever we want.

    what do you think?

    I'm pretty sure that's just their excuse. I think they're just saying that b/c they have to manually approve every image that someone wants to use (that's why it takes a couple days), and if they allowed people to change their images freely, they'd have be employing like 1000 more people.

    I dunno, just my 2 cents. Either way, I think we should be able to change it (almost ?) as much as we want

    i think if you ask them again they will change it...look at all the other people like below, mkind etc...they have changed theres many times...i thought it was a one time deal too but if you ask they will most likely let you change it again

    ive changed mine a few times too... all you have to do is say something like "i pay a good amount of $ in rake and enjoy playing on pokerstars and a new image will enhance my experience"

    bingo, new image approved.

    The times that i did not include a phrase such as the one listed above, i was told that i did not get an image change. I think the majority of people on stars are not persistant enough to get their original image changed.. which means less work for stars.

    I've changed my image at least 10 times in last year. They just sent me a e-mail saying blah blah blah I'm a vip so ok. Took about 7 times until I recieved that exact same message above, and I keep doin it sooooo.

    They should just update it so you can report players image's if theyre innaproppriate. If enough people report the same image they check it out...

    Lol I change my image like every other week.

    They tell you they'll only allow it once, but they've NEVER told me no when I ask if I can change.

    In fact, I don't even ask anymore. I send an email saying "Allow me to change my image."

    It's really not that hard to change your image. It just takes some time, and contrary to popular belief, you can change it as much as you want, you just have to be patient. If you are a really laggy player, start tightening up a touch in the next few dozens of tournys you play. Then Pooof! People will realize you aren't such a lagtard and give you a tight image. And if you are tight, try throwing a belowabove image in your game, you'll look just like kevin saul in no time.

    Just remember kids, on stars, you can change your image anytime you want, as long as you put your mind to it.

    stars would have to have a permanent team of like 50 people who only check images. And im sure stars doesnt want to have to check and approve so many images, enuf stuff that should be rejected gets through anyways.
