No. No one knows.

I agree. I would also like to see a full table pay out. So everyone that hits the top step gets paid 1-9. This would be cool.

Something like this maybe:
Step 6: 9 man ($18,000 prize pool)
1, 2: Step 7
3, 4: Step 6
5, 6: Step 5
7, 8: Step 4
9: Step 3
Step 7: 9 man ($54,000 prize pool)
1, 2, 3: Seats to PCA
4, 5, : Step 7
6, 7: Step 6
7, 8: Step 5
9: Step 4 -
Cor Blimeee Guv ........Earlier this evening I was wandering around the foggy whitechapel deserted backstreets when I stumbled into a public house, as I approached the bar to order a pint of bitter I overheard a group of cloth capped Old men talking about pokerstars steps....I mean WTF !!!!

I'm pretty sure Poker stars is using these steps for the PCA to test the waters. It seems like the response has been pretty good, so I am pretty sure they will soon have cash steps. But the thing is Cash steps are kind of unecessary because you could just start at a $5+1 SNG and if you won that, play a $15+1 SNG, and if you win that $25+2 and so and so on.

I'm waiting to take the plunge at step 6. ( started at step 1 and only had to replay step 3 twice, obv brag) But everytime I'm lurking the table is half filled with pros... guess it don't matter in the long run... we all start with two cards.
