  1. Mr. Jamie Gold put on one of the BIGGEST CLINICS in all time wsop history. Hate on his personality or not, 7 of 8 eliminations @ ft and massive chipleader for like 5 days straight is just incredible. He played almost PERFECT poker from the hand histories and from what i saw on the telecast..... and i actually love his table talk and demeanor. He creates a watchable and entertaining winner to watch and shows us all how poker should be played.

    PRAISE JAMIE GOLD
  2. I have no serious opinion either way.

How did you get your screenname, BTW?

    Do you remember?

    Hahhahaha
  3. ^^^^^^^^^^^ugh
  4. almost perfect poker is calling like a mad man what book did you read that from??? all he did was call call call call
  5. ty Brainwash. It was truly a great final table. I was stimulated for 12 straight hours.

    GG Mr. Gold
  6. bowler man,
you sir, just don't understand do you?

Jamie Gold ran this tournament for 4 days....you can't learn it all in a book, keep reading and you will get your foundation. This man played above all books and used his poker sense/feel/gut to make very good decisions throughout much of the tourney.

say what you want, call, call, call, raise, bet fold----hell go to sleep, regardless he played very well and just cashed 12million.

    beauright
  7. His table talk was his biggest weapon and it worked to perfection. What he said to the guy HU was so perfect. I put him on a draw and im sure everyone else did too the way he talked, simply amazing how he crushed that FT so hard
  8. I think busting 7 out of 8 peeps at the final table is enough said.
  9. HELL YA.

You all witnessed something that will NEVER happen again. Wiring the field from day 2-3 to the end without giving up the chip lead.

As long as there are 1000's of entrants, you've witnessed greatness.

You may disagree with his table talk, but he played big stack poker to perfection and these guys had no idea how to read him, with the exception of Cunningham.
  10. 2*Arli$$ + 0.03*Chan + 0.5*Hollywood = Jamie Gold
  11. WHo won?
  12. Jamie "the rich-ass, abrasive Hollywood agent" Gold did.
  13. blueberries are yummy....mmmmmmmmmmmmm
  14. I didn't watch the final last night but I played about 18 hours with Jamie on days 3 and 4.

He played a brilliant big stack and his table talk earned him a ton of chips.

My favorite Jamie talking hand from Day 4:

    Blinds are 5k-10k

Jamie raised from mid position to 30k and is called by the BB who has about 600k. Jamie has 3MM.

Flop Q52 rainbow and they both check.

    Turn 7

    BB leads out for 30k

Jamie says, "Umm, I'm going to raise you because its clear you have nothing, I don't have anything either but I'm the chip leader, you can't just bluff the chip leader out of position."

BB calls the raise to 100k

    River 7.

Jamie says, "its ok to check" as if to say, look we both have nothing, lets just check it down.

BB is so annoyed with Jamie after 3 hours of this talking and pushes all in for about 480k into a 260k and Jamie calls with 55 for a full house.

BB had A7 but made a senseless push there and I'm certain without Jamie talking through the hand he check calls the river.

I have a lot of respect for his game.

  15. I think we must have watched different tournaments. I saw a guy (mind you only saw the ppv final table not the previous days so cannot comment on them) who was transparent in his every move, he had at least 3 tells that I saw that were 100% correct on every showdown (I'm curious to see the hole cards of course...) and on top of that he was flat out luckier than everyone else. Absolutely I give him a ton of respect for not blowing his chip lead...leading for that many days and busting all but 1 of the final table is a *remarkable* accomplishment...but don't delude yourself about how he pulled it off.
