Villian a competent fairly tight player. Do I fold? Flat oop and re-evaluate? Set mine? 3 bet fold? (I'm never calling a 4 bet/shove in this spot) I always hate this spot...
  2. I would flat with the idea of set mining.

And then get it all in on a 257 rainbow flop and get busted by his QQ.

    True story.
  3. 3-bet/call
  4. 3-bet to induce fold, then fold yourself if your not sure about the 4-bet.If you get flatted, then use your OoP c-bet to take the pot down, if not, 4-bet the 3-bet post flop...

oh yeah, villian is tight looking at the bet sizing, should get a lot more info after the 3-bet here...then it becomes ez game
  5. you have JJ and 26BB, your gettin ur money in on this hand. Folding is out of question, flatting doesnt work because your not deep enough to set-mine. plus, ur way ahead of his opening range, so u wanna get money in, not flat and punch urself on the head when it flops AKQ.

3bet folding is by far by far the worst out of all options, never ever do with this stack and this hand in this position or rly ever for that matter. So that leaves shoving or 3bet/call with intention of jammin any flop. Im sure both are profitable, but i prefer to 3bet and jam the flop because it looks stronger, and alot of weak players in low limits like this will flat 3bets with intention of folding flops they dont connect with. so 3bet to 2550, perfect sizing so when he flats u can jam ~5400 into 5700

I'm pretty sure this is the answer.

  8. 25-30bb....how is this anything but a shove?

  9. - flatting = calling ??
    - jamming the flop = ??

    - In what case would you fold this JJ ?
    - if you 3Bet, he calls and come A 10 7 rainbow, what would you do ?
    - if you 3Bet, he shoves, would you call all in ?

In this particular situation against this player I'm 100000% sure my hand is crushed if he 4 bets..I obv call in different situations I probably should have made that more clear.

omg ur never 3bet folding get that play out of ur arsenal. shove or 3bet with intention of insta-snapcalling 4bet jam or jamming any flop. u should probly just shove so u dont get confused and want to fold when he shoves

    flatting=calling.
jamming the flop=pushing all in on the flop

-never folding jj from the sb to a single raise, but the issue was whether we raise or flat, which would be appropriate with deeper stacks.

-if u take the 3bet line, ur shoving all flops, def A 10 7 as well

    -couldnt call any quicker
  15. If he's competant, you are killing his range, so folding is insane. You can't 3bet/fold because you have odds to call a 4bet, or flat and try to play out of position.

Pushing is the only reasonable play.
  16. jamzilla

  17. prolly jam but i dont think flatting preflop to underrep your hand against a range that you probably destroy would be bad
