I remember a while back the Gift2Go cards were the best cards to deposit with that were pre-paid. Then I read an old fourm that stated that PS and FTP were not accepting deposits from Gift2Go cards starting July 30, 2007. Is that true? If so, what other options are there to deposit with pre-paid visa's?
-
How about all access visa's? Are there transaction fee's? Activation fee's? What's the deal with those?
-
www.allaccessgift.com It's like $6 fee per $100 which is expensive, but it works and is easy. You can also order reloadable ones and whatnot. Check out the web-site for a store locator.
-
it charges $6, but i used epassporte and it charged me $5 and that took 2 weeks. i am now gona go for the all access gift cards,
-
Do the reloadable ones work the same too?
-
A good option aswell is thru money mart.
You can a buy a loadable credit card called Platinum plus titanium master card, which works on all sites. All you have to do is load it whenever you want to use it. I find this pretty convenient. -
yah i have a titanium plus...its pretty sweet i just wish i coudl cash out money from FTP back on to the card instead of waiting for checcks
-
ya that would be sweet! PJam I came 2nd to you in the 10 r a few weeks ago, that's u right? It was on FTP... bookers44!
Anyways, titanium plus is the way to go.
Peace,
Don -
Ok, I just purchased 2 All Access gift cards for $100 each and tried to deposit it to my PS and FTP accounts. Guess what? I got denied?! Anyone had this problem or know how to resolve it? If this doesn't work then I just wasted $200 =*(

See you guys at the tables and good luck to all.. -

I also bought an all access gift card and was declined by pokerstars. I figured I would try to deposit the gift card onto my epassporte account but that was declined as well.
My citizen bank debit/credit master card had worked on FullTilt.
Anyone else with these difficulties. Of course this wouldnt be a problem if I didnt continually donk off my money.
Any help/suggestions welcomed( quitting not an option) -

All Access works fine - just go to the website and register the card with your info and it will work.
-
All access cards direct from the store do not have the 3 digits on the back neccessary to deposit online. You have to wait until you get the permanent card in the mail, that card has the 3 digits on the back. That worked for me, it took about 10 days to get and no problems from there.

Look for my thread in OT, that Visa is pre-paid.
-
asb923 - you are WRONG
AllAccess cards direct from the store has the 3 digit security code on them.
You only have to wait 10 days for a re-loadable card. -
I learned about Ace Cash Express (www.netspend.com online) from a previous post on P5s. Not much to load or reload, always works immediately on Tilt, stars, Absolute (when I played there). Easy to use.
-
This works. Go to your local Wal-Mart. Buy the reloadable visa card. I think it costs $5 or $8 the first time you buy it. Use the card on FTP or PS. The gift2go cards and other gift cards don't work. After you activate your Walmart reloadable visa card, they will send you one with your name on it and stuff within 7 days. Reload at walmart whenever you want and you can use it on most all sites. I think the website is www.walmartmoneycard.com it worked for me anyway.
-
Sometimes you don't even have to wait 10 days for the reloadable card. When I bought mine they gave me a temporary card that was reloadable and it worked within the first hour i got it. Then they gave me the real card 10 days later. Anyone who is having problems explain to them your situation and they will help, if you go to the store nearest you.
-
SORRY DUDE THE CARD I PURCHASED AT ALBERTSON'S DID NOT HAVE THE 3 DIGIT CODE ON THE BACK. THE ONE I RECEIVED IN THE MAIL DID. BUT THX ANYWAY asb923

^^^^^ Reload my Visa card for only $2.00-----only way to go:)
edit: i was referring to the netspend all-access Visa -
Hey DoubleUp28 (and anyone else interested)
I'm a reporter working on a story about how online poker players are getting around the current U.S. legislation. I'd like to meet with players in the Las Vegas area who are willing to show me how they do what they do.
If you're interested in being part of a story for The Associated Press, please contact me at 702-382-7440 or rnakashima@ap.org.
Cheers,
