Ok, this is within the first 10 hands of the 11 deepstack so no reads on others. Ive been really trying to slow down my play in the early stages which is part of the reasoning behind this fold and i still feel it was the right thing to do even after seeing the results.
just wandering what you think? would you have done the same, or are you jamming here? or are you 3-bet/calling his original raise or folding to a 4-bet if he reraises?
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks

my play would have to 3 bet pre to about 300 or so, and if i get 4-bet, im callin short stack, but im not committing all my stack on this., because its early and im deepstacked. Im thinking the shover in this situation is already cut in half, therefore either tilting, or at best A,Q, but your way ahead here, and yes im gunning for that shortstack with QQ here. Obviously the AK guy makes things interesting, but again if you 3-bet, i really doubt AK pushes here after the re shove from short stack. If he does shove, im like WTF and tank fold, if he flats you, your allin after flop, and congrats to him if hes set mining with KK, AA.
Good question here, and good luck man. -
i misread the AK guy calling SS shove before you. In that case, im still getting them in here for the simple fact the SS range is way behind your QQ. Its a tough spot here, but you definately need to 3-bet pre here for info.
-
I'm calling here at the very least and I might reshove in some spots for a few reasons:
a. The overshove here is pretty weak, so while it signifies a hand, at these limits, that hand can be pretty marginal (read as: crushed by QQ)
b. The call is certainly something to be worried about, it's a much more limited range than the shover and either means he has a good hand or he has a monster. That being said, you have QQ and with his range being likely TT+, AK (AQ maybe), you still have him well covered.
Play QQ stronger next time and you'll find this out before almost half your stack has to go in: reshove > call/reassess flop > fold -
yeh i am regretting not 3-betting his initial raise, and as for the shover i was calling him 100% and had no concerns over his holdings. But i really think original raisers range is really tight here, i was think QQ+ Ak also, and im obv not playing well against tht. i guess playing more aggressive myself is prob the best line here though yeh
